Chapter 1 - The Second Big Bang

The Big Bang theory tells us how the universe began: around 13.8 billion years ago, all matter, energy, space, and time erupted from an infinitely dense point, expanding rapidly to form everything we know today—stars, planets, galaxies, and life itself. It is the ultimate origin story, the cosmic fireworks that set existence into motion.

The second Big Bang happened in the year 2037. It had been 2,025 years since that first cosmic explosion—an event history would come to call The Reckoning. Some called it the apocalypse, and in many ways, they were right. For this was not a subtle event. The second Big Bang tore open reality itself, birthing a new universe inside our own.

It could have been catastrophic. Yet, oddly, it was both a blessing and a curse. Prehistoric civilizations—long thought extinct—emerged and merged with the present world. Ancient beasts, some chronicled in myth, others unknown to human records, walked the earth once more.

The planet itself expanded fiftyfold, and strange, forgotten energies seeped into every corner of existence. Some energies were documented in old scrolls; others survived only in the pages of comics and mangas, their truths disguised as fiction.

Life adapted. Prehistoric humans and beasts evolved, but the beasts adapted faster. The energies of the universe seemed to favor them, blessing them with abilities beyond imagination. Meanwhile, humanity struggled to understand and harness this energy, learning to bend it slowly, carefully, as the new world reshaped itself.

Earth was no longer a familiar place. It was a playground of chaos and wonder, a testing ground for the brave, the foolish, and the curious. And in this new world, heroes would rise… though none could have predicted how strange, and often hilarious, their journey would be.
