Chapter 5 - The Soulful Artist's Talent for Creating Trouble!

Not long after leaving the town, Daniel noticed something unusual behind him.

Three players were following him.

"Evil players already?"

Daniel showed no expression, but he was somewhat surprised.

Evil players was a term used in his previous life to refer to certain players.

These players didn't bother to kill monsters and level up; instead, they improved their strength by ambushing and killing other players.

In his previous life, Daniel only heard of their reputation half a year later.

He hadn't expected to encounter these people just half a day after entering the game.

"These scoundrels!"

A cold glint appeared at the corner of Daniel's mouth as he turned to face the players behind him.

Seeing that Daniel had discovered them, the three players no longer hid and emerged directly from behind the trees.

"Kid, if you know what's good for you, hand over all your money, otherwise don't blame us for being impolite."

"There are three of us, and our boss even has a low-grade equipment. You can't beat us!"

Two of them shouted, seemingly confident they had Daniel cornered.

"Whirlwind Slash!"

A huge Wind Blade formed in Daniel's hand.

"Whoosh!"

The next second, it flew directly towards the three.

"Holy crap! What a huge Wind Blade! Dodge quickly!"

"Too late!"

"Second brother, block it!"

The three evil players were greatly alarmed, looking at the huge Wind Blade in a panic.

"Pfft!"

"Pfft!"

"-110!"

"-110!"

Two massive damage numbers appeared, and the second and third brothers died instantly!

After piercing through the first person's body, the Wind Blade continued its advance, splitting the second person's body in half.

Only one player had time to escape due to the obstruction of the people in front.

"Big brother, I was wrong, I'm sorry! Please spare me!"

The remaining boss begged for mercy incessantly.

Though he was begging for mercy, he secretly crushed a scroll in his hand.

"Speed Scroll!"

A surge of power appeared within his body, increasing his agility attribute.

"I will get my revenge!"

Saying this, the boss turned and ran.

"Golden Chains!"

But as soon as he moved, several chains emerged from the ground, binding him tightly.

"-11!"

"-11!"

"-11!"

Damage numbers kept appearing on his body.

"What the hell is this? Tortoise shell binding? Let me go!"

"You pervert! Get away from me!"

Seeing Daniel walk towards him, the boss panicked a little.

"Such a coward."

"Pfft!"

Another Whirlwind Slash, severing the boss's head.

Daniel turned and left.

"Evil players are appearing so early; I must level up as quickly as possible. I remember Night Without Trace is in the Novice Village of South of the River Region City."

Thinking of this, Daniel's tone became incredibly cold.

One Dragon, Two Shadows, Three War Gods, Four Riders, Five Mages, Six Realm Supremes.

These were some of the top experts of the Green Dragon guild.

Among them, one of the Two Shadows was Shadow of the Night - Night Without Trace.

This guy had the hidden class Shadow of the Night, and in the early stages, he made his fortune by robbing and plundering.

Later, with the help of Richard , he 'washed clean' and joined the Green Dragon guild.

"I'll start with you!"

Not long after leaving the Novice Village, a monster appeared before Daniel's eyes.

[Desolate Grass Worm: LV2 HP 100]

The Desolate Grass Worm looked like an enlarged insect; these monsters were common in the wilderness and could be said to be the weakest monsters.

But even such a monster required at least three players to cooperate to kill.

Players in the early stages could be said to be pitifully weak.

"Whirlwind Slash!"

A huge Wind Blade appeared in Daniel's hand, flying directly towards the Desolate Grass Worm.

"Pfft!"

"-110!"

Instant kill!

Whirlwind Slash directly emptied the Desolate Grass Worm's HP!

[You have killed a Desolate Grass Worm. You gain 10 experience points.]

[Because you are the first to kill a Desolate Grass Worm, Glorious Evolution Talent takes effect. You gain one Evolution Point.]

[Your battle has ended. You have triggered Soul Painter Talent. You obtain a painting.]

The system prompt sounded.

[Painting of the Earth-shattering Battle between the Great ??? and the Desolate Grass Worm: This is a battle between the great ??? and the terrifying Desolate Grass Worm. This battle was so intense that it overshadowed the sun and moon, and ultimately the great ??? killed the Desolate Grass Worm. Use this painting to gain 10 attribute points.]

Daniel: ???

Terrifying Desolate Grass Worm?

Earth-shattering battle?

In the painting, there were figures of Daniel and the Desolate Grass Worm.

But there was "a little bit" of exaggeration.

Daniel's figure was incomparably majestic, treading on mountains and seas, and the Desolate Grass Worm also looked incredibly ferocious, having devoured countless worlds within its body.

Daniel's world-shattering Whirlwind Slash killed the Desolate Grass Worm, and its blood flowed backward like a river!

"Is this me in the painting???"

Daniel expressed doubt.

Art can be exaggerated, but isn't this too exaggerated?

"Use!"

Daniel chose to use this painting.

[You gain 10 attribute points.]

"All into Intelligence!"

Daniel put all of them into Intelligence.

He was quite bothered by his "low intelligence."

"I still have one Evolution Point, evolve Whirlwind Slash!"

[You consume one Evolution Point. Whirlwind Slash evolves into a 'Proficient Level' skill.]

[Whirlwind Slash: Spin your body, releasing a golden Wind Blade that deals Strength * 5 -> 10 + Agility * 5 -> 10 damage to surrounding enemies, with a chance to stun them. Skill cooldown 60 -> 50 seconds.]

The damage doubled, and the skill cooldown was reduced by 10 seconds.

Daniel was very satisfied; the damage of Whirlwind Slash was currently overflowing, and its only drawback was the long cooldown time.

He must evolve it to Legendary Level as soon as possible.

Daniel continued forward, and soon, a second Desolate Grass Worm appeared in his sight.

"Whirlwind Slash!"

This time, an even larger golden Wind Blade appeared, directly splitting the Desolate Grass Worm's body in half.

"-220!"

The golden Wind Blade passed through the Desolate Grass Worm's body and then cut down a giant tree before dissipating.

[You have killed a Desolate Grass Worm. You gain 10 experience points.]

[Your battle has ended. You have triggered Soul Painter Talent. You obtain a painting.]

The system prompt sounded.

[Painting of the Even Stronger and Greater ??? Effortlessly Slaying the Desolate Grass Worm: The great ??? is even stronger; he effortlessly slew the Desolate Grass Worm that plagued countless worlds! Use this painting to gain 10 attribute points.]

Soul Painter triggered again, granting another 10 attribute points.

Daniel used it again.

"This talent is so lively; let me see your limits!"

Daniel continued to hunt Desolate Grass Worms.

The third time he killed a Desolate Grass Worm, another painting appeared.

[Painting of the Great ??? Abusing the Weak Desolate Grass Worm: The great ??? casually waved his hand, abusing the weak Desolate Grass Worm. Use this painting to gain 1 attribute point.]

The third painting gave very few attribute points.

"So that's how it is. The first two battles with monsters gave a large number of attributes due to inspiration, but later, it's because inspiration ran dry, so it gives fewer attributes?"

Daniel thought of a possibility.

"Then I'll go try other monsters."
