Chapter 51 - Chapter 51: The Evil Tutorial

The water level in the training ground rose to half a meter before finally stopping.

With a poof, the four Shadow Clones dispersed, and several butterflies fluttered back into Shiraishi Gisei's sleeves.

A smile touched Gisei's lips.

Creating this much water had nearly drained his own chakra, but fortunately, he still had reserves stored in the seal. He had already undone two of them.

Now, he planned to give Tsunade a proper "tutoring."

He extended his palm, and a whip made entirely of water formed in his hand.

With a sharp snap, Gisei cracked the whip against the water's surface and looked at Tsunade with a beaming, almost angelic smile.

Tsunade's expression turned ugly the moment she saw the water whip.

"You..."

Outside the barrier, Jiraiya's eyes practically bugged out of his head.

Inside, he was screaming that Gisei was a lucky pervert, wishing he could swap places with him, but his mouth spoke righteously: "Damn that Gisei! How dare he treat Tsunade like that!"

Orochimaru just stared, not understanding Jiraiya's reaction at all.

The Third Hokage puffed on his pipe, thinking to himself that young people these days really knew how to play.

Inside the arena, Gisei began to lash out at Tsunade with the whip.

Anger rushed to Tsunade's head. She grabbed the water whip mid-strike and smashed it into two segments with her bare hands.

"Are you underestimating me?!"

The moment the words left her mouth, Tsunade used the Body Flicker Technique to appear right in front of Gisei, smashing her fist toward his head.

This time, Gisei finally made a move, meeting her fist with one of his own.

Seeing that he actually dared to match fists with her, Tsunade revealed a mysterious, confident smile. She had absolute faith in her Heavenly Foot of Pain technique.

Only when their fists collided did she realize that Gisei's fist was wrapped in a massive amount of condensed water.

"Suiton: Suiken no Jutsu!" (Water Style: Water Fist Jutsu!)

Gisei gave it a name purely out of bad taste.

The Water Fist Jutsu wasn't just about wrapping his fist in water. Using his immense chakra control, he had condensed five distinct layers of water walls within the liquid glove.

After Tsunade's super strength was dissipated by the layers of water, the remaining force was nothing to fear.

But something happened that Gisei hadn't expected.

The moment their fists collided and Tsunade's initial force was spent, she unexpectedly exerted a second, violent burst of strength.

Fortunately, the hasty follow-up wasn't enough to cause serious damage. Gisei just retreated a few steps and stabilized his footing.

Seeing this, Tsunade clenched her fist and rushed him again.

Gisei curled his lip. Truly a persistent woman.

Before Tsunade's fist could get close, a water whip suddenly shot up from the surface beneath her feet and entangled her ankle.

Tsunade broke the whip with brute force and continued her charge without missing a beat.

"Suiton: Suijinheki!" (Water Style: Water Formation Wall!)

Tsunade smashed right through the Water Formation Wall, and Gisei's hateful face was already within reach.

A sneer appeared on her face as she instantly cranked her chakra output to the maximum.

"It's over!"

As long as she landed one solid hit, Gisei would be finished—at the very least, seriously injured.

Her fist connected just as she wished.

A smile of victory appeared on Tsunade's face, but a moment later, it froze.

Gisei's body suddenly dissolved into a blob of sticky water.

It wrapped around Tsunade's fist and immediately began spreading up her arm like a living slime. Tsunade struggled violently, but she found she couldn't break free at all.

At the same time, the real Gisei appeared behind her, slapping one hand onto the water's surface.

"Suiton: Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu!" (Water Style: Water Clone Jutsu!)

Dozens of Giseis rose from the water, each holding a water whip in their hand.

Seeing the sheer number of clones surrounding her, Tsunade's face turned pale.

She already understood Gisei's intention.

He wanted to humiliate her, and she had absolutely no way to stop him. Her taijutsu couldn't touch him, her super strength was nullified by his Water Style, and now she was firmly trapped by the very water she stood on.

"I surrender!"

Just as Gisei was ready to start his "evil tutorial," Tsunade shouted those two words.

Gisei had just raised the whip. Hearing her surrender now made him feel incredibly unsatisfied.

"Tsunade, aren't you going to persist a little longer?"

"I said I surrender!"

Gisei quietly dispersed the water clones, sighing. "Tsunade, how about I fight you without using clones?"

"I surrender!"

Seeing that Tsunade was dead set on quitting, the depression in Gisei's heart was indescribable.

I went to all that trouble, even set up a barrier so no one could interrupt, and you quit before the fun even started? Where am I supposed to put all this excitement?

Still, he knew that if he attacked her after she surrendered—especially in such a humiliating way—she would probably fight him to the death out of sheer spite.

Reluctantly, he dispelled the barrier, and the massive volume of water instantly rushed out, flooding the area.

Jiraiya immediately splashed in, ran to Tsunade, and began loudly expressing his "concern."

Gisei, looking slightly bored, watched them with his hands behind his head as Orochimaru walked over.

"You don't need hand seals to use the Butterfly Clone?"

"What serious ninja uses hand seals?"

"I'm very interested in that ninjutsu of yours—the one that combines Shadow Clone and Butterfly Clone." As Orochimaru spoke, a snake peeked out from his sleeve, flicking its tongue.

Seeing the snake, Gisei understood immediately.

He thought about it for a second and decided to teach Orochimaru the technique.

When Orochimaru tested it out, Jiraiya and Tsunade walked over. Jiraiya casually tried to disperse Orochimaru's clone with a slap on the back, but the moment his hand touched it, a snake lunged out and bit him.

"It hurts! Bastard Orochimaru!"

Seeing this, Tsunade remembered how she couldn't land a hit on Gisei earlier.

"He actually taught you that technique?"

After testing it briefly, a look of genuine excitement appeared on Orochimaru's face.

"Gisei-kun, you truly are a genius. This idea of hiding the real body—or a trap—within an intangible clone is simply wonderful."

Gisei sneered. "It's just so-so. The Shadow Clone originally had the ability to attack physically, but after adding this modification, it loses that solid form."

The Third Hokage walked over, glanced at Gisei, and then looked at Tsunade.

"Tsunade, what do you plan to do now?"

Tsunade didn't answer him. Instead, she looked directly at Gisei. "What do you want to do?"

Gisei was speechless. This woman really had a fast brain; she kicked the ball right back to him.

He hadn't gotten his revenge earlier, and now it wasn't appropriate to make demands. Clearly, she was the one who came looking for trouble, yet somehow he was the one stuck in an awkward position.

Damn it!

Kick her out of the medical squad? Would that make him seem too petty? But if he let her off like this, where would he vent his anger?

Thinking carefully, Gisei began to rub his thumb against his index finger, gesturing vigorously at Tsunade.

The Third coughed twice, and both Jiraiya and Orochimaru wore strange expressions.

Tsunade was stunned for a moment, hesitating before asking, "Money?"

"Of course. Appearance fee, provocation fee, mental damage fee, and most importantly, you wasted my time. Wasting time is wasting life."

"This all has to be calculated, and..."

Before Gisei could finish his itemized list, Tsunade asked directly, "How much do you want?"

Gisei touched his nose and held up two fingers.

"Twenty million?"

Gisei began to cough frantically. He had intended to ask for two million, but Tsunade had straight-up multiplied it by ten.

As expected of the Legendary Sucker.
