The tall man walked towards our small group, looking straight ahead like some stalker.
"Hyoka Hyoka!! Look, it's Kea!" He pointed at me, who started looking around to see if anyone was paying attention to the unnecessary attention.
He walked up to me, looking down at me in silence… staring.
I stared back at him, silent. His black, unnecessarily flat, long hair now fell to his waist, which was two feet longer than it was when I last saw him.
He moved his hand, placing it on my head. "Kea. You have grown."
I have grown!? Look at you!
"Maybe, but why are you acting so mysterious right now?"
"Because… there's supposedly a guest… I don't want to make a bad impression on said guest." He whispered, eying the surroundings
Ah, yes, he hasn't changed at all. I swear every person here has some form of stupid flaw. Anyway, Hyoka is not the same age as us; he's actually 2 years older than me, so he basically became the big brother of our group, being the only one who can drive and own… basically any license.
He's also the most mature, obviously.
"So, who's our special guest?"
"Huh?" Nil looked in our direction. "That would be me!"
Hyoka, startled, looked at the overpowering girl standing in the back of the group of 4. "A girl!?" He looked at me for answers.
"Uh, yeah. She asked me to come today."
"Wait, she asked you to come? So you're saying you ended up managing to get over your resentment for them?"
'Them?'
"Well, it isn't as easy as you'd think. I'm still cautious, but she's different… Anyway, she's my girlfriend and roommate, so she always knows when I leave and stuff."
He looked back and forth between us for a minute. "That's…. So cool, man! Congrats!" He took his hand off the top of my head and walked over to Kusuo.
"You have an interesting group of friends! How'd you actually manage it though?"
… I don't really know myself, to be honest.
