Chapter 2 - Beauty Beyond Words

One moment, I was unaware and in the dark…suddenly, I gasped awake, breathing in the air, desperation, the sheer sense of urgency that I needed…to breath.

Before my breath shuddered, the sheer purity of what I just breathed in, something I could hardly believe was air, my eyes snapped open,… only for my mind to fail.

Vibrant colors that belong only in pairings and dreams, the sheer softness that I could spot on the textures of petals at the Boundless fields of flowers before me. The sheer depth of the blue in the sky, the pure purity of the fluffy clouds, and just peaking over it the sun…that oddly did not hurt my eyes.

It was Beauty beyond Words…it was simply that, there was only so much I could think of, so much my eyes could see that would but barely describe a fraction of what I was truly experiencing.

How does one even begin to describe this…

The air didn't just fill my lungs… it welcomed me, like it had been waiting. It felt cleaner than purity itself—cool, warm, soft, and crisp all at once.

The sunlight didn't burn or blind—it washed over me like a quiet promise. A warmth that wasn't heat, but… peace. Like someone placing a gentle hand on my shoulder.

The flower petals looked so soft I almost felt them against my skin without touching them… like the idea of softness made real.

I could I see in the distance animals if all kinds, be it a small rabbit, a lion sleeping on a well placed rock, or a majestic eagle on a tree.

All living in harmony and peace.

It was paradise…there was no other way to describe it.

…However something was off, I could feel it in my mind, in my chest…as if some parts of me has been surpressed…others elevated, no…surpressed may not be a right word…as if I was constantly being regressed to a state of innocence-

"Is his hair supposed to be changing like that," a worried voice suddenly interrupted my thoughts, the feeling of nirvana snapped away from me, "Look! There it is again! Father designed him with brown hair, but he gone from Opalescent White (Euphoria / Transcendence) and Bright Yellow (Happiness/Joy) and then suddenly shifting to Electric White (Shock/Surprise) to AmberOrange (Annoyance)! Something is off…".

I turned to look at who spoke right next to me…to find that I was surrounded from my left to my right by…very white people.

No legitimately white people, not Caucasian, but so white it was paste…with the exception of one, the tallest one among company.

"Um…did we mess up somewhere?…his eyes and hair are changing but his expressions aren't…did somebody mess up on his facial muscles?" Said the the voice that spoke up, blonde, like most of them were, I could not see the eyes behind the gold half mask, a tall, slender figure with a sharp, confident posture. Her design carries a mix of noble elegance and dark menace.

Jophiel…why did I know that?…How did I already know her name?!

"Samuel…?" The voice opposite end of Jophiel said questionably, a hint of frustration could be heard of another blonde man, just as pale, broad shouldered, favored the color blue and white above all, red spotted cheeks, icy blue eyes, and seem to have…a presence to him.

Michael…once again, I knew his name, before I could ask or hear of it.

"Brother, under our Heavenly Father's name, I promise you, I did nothing to alter the guy,…even if I wanted to, at least one of you were always present when you all were working on him…I quite frankly wouldn't even have had a chance to do anything" the voice defended itself.

Michael was currently looking at the smallest one of the field, one he recognized looked similar to Michael, if different, he too had red spotted cheeks, and seemed out of all of them shined the brightest.

Samuel

"Michael, leave you twin be, he already had to beg us to let him meet him…I doubt he would actually do anything to jeopardize our trust,"

She is a tall, elegant, and sharply styled figure with a confident, almost regal presence. Her long platinum-blonde hair sweeps upward in a dramatic curl before cascading down her back.

Gabriel

"Oh look! His hair and eyes turned even darker shade of orange! I wonder what that means?" Jophiel once more called out.

I was steadily getting annoyed that they were speaking as if I wasn't in the rhetorical room.

"Enough," The tallest one here spoke in a regal tone, strangely she was the only one with a darker skin tone, her silver eyes, and long long twirled up strands of hair, "It is quite frankly rude to not introduce ourselves to him…he is clearly conscious,"

Sera

She…was quite well over twelve feet tall, she had white freckles, and frankly had this aura around her…that felt pleasant.

Sera smiled as all the others followed her lead as they gave a small, polite bow to me as she greeted, "My apologies, we were simply caught off guard by your…peculiarities, I am sure you must be confused and have many, many questions, to which we will answer them all, we are the angels from heaven, have been ordered by the Almighty to create you, the ruler of the Garden of Eden…Adam,"

Suddenly, as if it clicked, a burst of warmth in my chest, in my heart, where suddenly, where I felt lost I found my center, a core piece of me.

My name…is Adam….

That…felt right, even if I don't recall if that wa my name in my old life or not, it was mine now.

Ding! You have been Named! Recieve a Bronze Ticket!

[Aura Farming]

|Uncommon Skill|

You are skilled at presenting yourself in ways that are ""cool"" and ""badass"". You have a unique for spotting instances and timings to ""farm aura"", interjecting at just the perfect moment, making a dramatic entrance, standing on top of a ledge with your back turned as your cape flutters majestically, producing a crisp dap. You are also skilled at not seeming ""uncool"" such as avoiding tripping, stuttering, if you mess up you will have a better time at recovering to not lose your ""Aura"".

…I am apparently HIM now.

I slowly made "use" of my skill—because why not at this point—slowly I raised my hand up to my face, before my head tilted up to the sky…

In all seriousness, I had many questions…where was I?, why was I?, why create me? Why am I naked?…and why did I have legitimately no shame of this?…but I settled with something else

"What am I?" My voice was deep and raspy, befuddlment clear in my tongue. It was a simple question, and yet I wasn't too sure, all I knew was that my name was Adam…

Sera gently put a hand on my shoulder, some sort of comfort, "You are a human, formed from the dust of the earth, before the wind of life flowed through you…you have been created with the duty of being the Father of Mankind, to be fruitful and multiply, to rule over the Garden of Eden and to name all the creatures within,".

To name and to bang?…is that really my purpose?

I could only blink, "…But I am alone," unless they meant with them, but I highly doubt that.

Jophiel immediately made a sound of sadness, "Oh don't worry! It takes a bit of time to create something as complex as your being, you won't be alone for long! We have already started working on your wife, The Mother of Humanity, the First Woman to you the First Man," she tried to encourage.

…I was once again unsure what to think, my hair and eyes no doubt shifting between all sorts of colors, be it annoyance, confusion, perhaps a little fear, anxiety…anger?

It sounded…off that they were telling me they were going to make me a wife…and yet all of their expressions tell me just how genuine and…good? They all felt.

"Yea! Just sit tight buddy! She will be out in a jiffy!" Samuel tried to further help, wrapping a arm around my waist— I was too tall—much to the disapproval of Michael, a stray thought popped into my mind about how much I liked his hat.

I nodded, despite the fact my face more than likely remained mostly stoic to them, I did my own bow, "Thank you Lady Sera, Lady Jophiel, Sir Samuel…although I am confused on how I know your names…"

The three of the five angels mentioned blinked, as they looked amongst the others, one muttered "Lady?" With a sense of awe and glee, while Samuel actually blushed a little at being referred to what he had picked up was a title of respect.

Ah wait…has nothing like this been made- wait, just how in the beginning am I?…it's not in the very beginning is it? How…are we even currently speaking currently…

Sera cleared her throat, a small splash of gold can be seen on her cheeks, "Lady Sera…it feels…quite regal,…and it is only natural you know our names, afterall, as the Lord of Names, it is your right to know,".

I…I see

We stood quite for a little over a minute, before Sera continued, "Is there…anything else you may wish to ask, Adam?" She patiently nudged, before much to her and her fellow angel's surprised I shook no.

"To be perfectly honest,…I feel tired, I wish to reorganize my thoughts…and I am not sure if I should be keeping you all here…surely I am not the only think you need to keep mind of,"

They all blinked, clearly didn't expect the latter have of what I said when they didn't at all look surprised that I was tired.

"I…" Sera once more blinked, before she gave a small smile, "No…it makes sense, you were but just now made… please, rest well…you will find that no matter the spot of your choosing, you will find a soft bedding, otherwise, I wish you a restful slumber," each of the angels shined brightly like the morning sunshine before they dissipated in yellow, golden particles of light.

Now alone in a flower field, a pounding headache be it from truly because I was just created or I was overwhelmed, I did not know…but I took Sera's advise.

…Am I in shock?…Clearly I need to sleep it off or something, it feels like I am just going through the motions.

Laying down where I stood, finding no particular reason to look for any other spot, listening to the chirping birds, the gently blowing breeze, a wonder how the temperature…just felt right.

…It truly was soft…I quickly found myself asleep.
