In the evening, Milo Sinclair returned and brought her a gift.
A limited edition L Brand handbag, the kind in a fashion style with embedded diamonds. The downside is it's impractical, a luxury item that relies entirely on looks to increase its price.
"Here, it's a gift your mother-in-law brought back from Crestfall, just for you," Milo Sinclair didn't dare to take credit and immediately told Shea Thorne where it came from.
Originally, his mom planned to give it to her in person, but the situation turned so unpleasant that she let him bring it to appease her first, so Shea wouldn't misunderstand her mother-in-law as being narrow-minded, short-sighted, and not fond of her because of the online rumors.
"Nonsense, I'm not even married yet, where would a mother-in-law come from?" Shea Thorne was embarrassed by his comment, outwardly denying the existence of a mother-in-law, yet clutching the bag tightly.
