This interruption didn't disrupt the party's atmosphere, except for the clueless onlookers.
Seeing the parents of those involved still getting along, everyone figured they already knew, and weren't surprised that Alice Lawson is Shea Thorne's mother.
After all, in this world, where is there a mother who would tarnish her daughter's reputation for personal gain, unless she's a stepmother?
Alice Lawson, driven out, felt more indignant the more she thought about it. She and Michelle Morgan became famous around the same time, so why does Michelle have the upper hand over her?!
Looking at Jonathan Keating beside her, Alice felt aggrieved; Michelle was only better because of the man beside her! What women empowerment?! Isn't it just relying on a man for support?
"What's wrong with this world?! Didn't expect that daughter and Hayden Thorne to make a comeback!" Alice felt uneasy recalling tonight's events. Hayden Thorne, a poor professor, was a guest of honor to the Sinclairs, but why?
