The same evening, in a residential area near National Medical University, a family of three is having a reunion dinner together.
Melissa Lynn and Mrs. Crawford are cooking in the kitchen. Mrs. Crawford takes the fish out of the pot and instructs Melissa, "This steamed fish, Miles loves it. The soy sauce mixed with ginger must be simmered in the pot to taste good."
Melissa silently removes the ginger from the bass and pours soy sauce directly on the fish, then carries it out.
Her family situation isn't good. Her father isn't home this year, and her mother went to her brother and sister-in-law's. After returning, she would have to deal with her sister-in-law, so she decided to stay in Kingscrest and spend the New Year with Miles.
