Shea Thorne felt extremely uncomfortable, a wave of nausea surged from her chest.
It seemed like her body was bound by something and couldn't move, her arms were tied behind her back, the bindings cut off circulation, her eyelids felt heavy, and even though she felt the glaring sunlight piercing her eyelids, she just couldn't wake up.
Her head felt so heavy, she couldn't even lift it.
She vaguely heard someone talking, but couldn't make out the words, then heard heavy footsteps dragging slippers from far to near.
Before she could open her eyes, a stream of cold water flowed down from the top of her head.
The cold water startled Shea Thorne awake, she struggled to open her sore eyes and saw the person holding a hose dousing her.
She was bent over, emaciated beyond recognition, looking at Shea Thorne with an unusually excited, deranged smile on her face.
