Since Milo Sinclair has been decided as the fiancé, he must go to Shea Thorne's home for New Year's greetings.
That day was the second day of the new year, the house was particularly lively, Justin Lawson brought Asher Keating along, and Asher got along quite well with Ariana Thorne. The younger generation gathered around Mr. Thorne, playfully causing him to hand out an entire packet of red envelopes, which still wasn't enough.
Earlier, Shea had specially exchanged cash for her father, and it seemed she had given quite a bit.
Especially Asher, who felt quite embarrassed receiving the red envelope, declining, "Uncle, you already gave me one on New Year's Eve…"
"This isn't an ordinary red envelope. Inside is a piece of calligraphy from Uncle's museum collection, a reproduction that isn't worth much money. I'm giving it to you for good luck," Mr. Thorne said kindly, without making Asher feel uncomfortable.
