The next day, Shea Thorne received a call from Skye Yardley, informing her that her father had found Alice Lawson and Jonathan Keating. Her father insisted that the couple must apologize to Shea Thorne to settle the matter.
Shea Thorne understood that Skye Yardley's parents were giving face to Ariana Thorne, simply because Ariana would obviously listen to Shea's suggestion, thus leaving the decision up to her.
However, Alice Lawson hadn't come to her during this time, but had instead made numerous calls to her father.
But her father didn't answer any of them, and eventually, when she used another number to call, that number also got blocked.
"Dad, maybe you should talk to Mom. Perhaps she has something urgent to discuss with you?" Shea exchanged a glance with Ariana, then said sadly, "She just doesn't like me; she still likes someone else."
