After finishing most of a pot of tea, Shea Thorne, noticing that Ariana Thorne hadn't come to find her, prepared to get up and go look for her. Just then, the results were out, so she let Milo Sinclair take a look.
As soon as she exited the office and walked a few steps, she saw Ariana Thorne sitting on a bench outside, holding a lab report. She sat there watching people come and go, or perhaps she was just daydreaming.
Shea Thorne walked over and asked, "Why didn't you come find me once you were finished? Weren't we going to go shopping later?"
She had said she was leaving Kingscrest, and Shea Thorne had been helping her pack for the past few days. Today, they had planned to go shopping and have afternoon tea with Skye Yardley, but here she was, sitting silently.
Given Ariana Thorne's current emotional state, if she didn't come out to look for her, they might be waiting a long while.
