When Shea Thorne woke up the next day, Milo Sinclair was not by her side.
She got out of bed, first opened the door to check if he was working next door, stretched lazily, then went to pull open the curtains, only to see Ariana Thorne sitting on a white wooden bench outside the floor-to-ceiling window. She was probably waiting for her, and upon seeing her open the curtains, she waved at her.
Shea paused, remembering that Milo Sinclair's window didn't have a bench outside; when was it added?
Seeing two nurses standing next to Ariana, Shea understood the reason.
Her status was different now; having a bench wasn't surprising.
Shea signed to her, quickly went to the bathroom to wash her face and brush her teeth, and after tidying up, went out to find Ariana.
When Ariana saw the bandage wrapped around her right ear, she asked worriedly, "Is your ear alright? Is the injury bad? Does it affect you in any way?"
