The day had finally arrived. Alina cursed loudly under her breath as she switched the gear to reverse, her fingers tightening around the steering wheel.
No one had told her that driving a car was this difficult. In movies it always looked easy, smooth, effortless even but sitting behind the wheel now made her realize how wrong that assumption had been.
"You have to be patient, Ms.," Lucas murmured as he reached for the bottled water beside him and took a slow sip. His face twisted slightly as though he wanted to throw up.
After taking a few deep breaths, his stomach finally settled and he leaned back against the seat.
Alina lowered her gaze anxiously as she turned off the car for a moment. At this rate, if she kept learning how to drive like this, she might destroy the company's property before the day even ended.
