Outside the door, the Duke was silent for a moment, his voice deeper than usual.
"How did you know it was me?"
Ellie Miller stood up and walked to the door, "Because Conrad knocks with longer intervals than you do."
"It's probably because of the quarrel; you knocked 0.5 seconds faster than Conrad."
She analyzed calmly.
The Duke outside the door: "..."
"...Can you open the door for me, Ellie?"
Ellie Miller thought for a moment.
She had locked the door earlier because she was angry and didn't want to see the man.
But now that she had calmed down, she wasn't angry anymore.
The only reason not to open the door for the man would be to punish him.
