In the afternoon, sunlight streamed through the stained glass windows of the palace, falling upon the Holy Maiden.
Aniana clasped her hands together, eyes closed, imagining this light as the warm embrace of a Divine.
And she, cradled in the arms of that handsome Celestial.
"Oh my Divine," Aniana prayed in an empty room, "Sophilia has gone to the Frostfell."
"I used the Divine Status of the God of Trickery to deceive my father."
She opened her eyes, fervently gazing at the God of The Radiance statue.
"Would you reward me?"
"I long to go to a place closer to The Radiance."
"I long to see you."
"I long to..." become your wife.
"I long to..."
"Become a god, can you tell me, how to become a Divine?"
"I do not wish to be a powerful Divine, only to be a minor Divine bathing in your Divine Light by your side..."
The God of The Radiance statue stood silently there.
The Holy Maiden leaned over the tabletop where the statue stood, softly humming "The Radiance Anthem."
