"We can't act like that again in the future. We're not officially together yet, and it doesn't look right..." Sierra Summers whispered softly.
Caleb Sterling heard the hint of annoyance in Sierra's voice. He didn't show any expression, just interlocked his fingers with hers tightly, leaned over, and kissed her hair near her temple. In a completely insincere way, he said, "Okay."
Sierra's cheeks flushed red once more.
She didn't know why, but she found it increasingly difficult to handle Caleb. Moreover, the closer they got, the less she dared to flirt boldly like before.
In the past, she wanted to confirm Caleb's feelings; now, she somewhat, vaguely understood. Sierra always felt that if she continued like this, something unexpected might happen.
She thought she should hold back a bit.
However, even as she held back, Caleb was unwilling to do the same.
