Chapter 4 - Golden Auspicious Clouds! Multiple forces are trembling!

At the border of the Gorges of Spirits, after a flash of lightning, a tall and slender figure appeared.

The figure had short, silver-gray hair, smooth yet subtly sharp.

Strands of hair casually fell across his forehead, obscuring part of his brows and eyes, adding a touch of wildness and mystery.

Paired with his pale, snow-like skin and stern face, he stood there like a silver-haired Asura.

As for this individual, perhaps he wasn't yet a household name in Jinzhou.

But in the New Federation, no matter the circumstance, if this man's name was mentioned… then no one would harbor any doubt.

Indeed, he was none other than Calcharo, the leader of the "Ghost Hounds" mercenary group, renowned as Solaris' strongest Resonator.

"The aura he just exuded, even I might only be able to contend with it if I enter Overclocking(Deathblade Gear State)."

"With such power, why bother having me secretly protect him?"

The man shook his head, a hint of bewilderment on his face, and grumbled with some exasperation.

But complaints aside, he still had to complete the mission… after all, he had already received the payment.

The scene shifted to the highest point of a colossal statue in Whining Aix's Mire, where two crimson figures stood closest to the Threnodian.

"The Threnodian's awakening has slowed. Is it because of the Night-Shade?"

The white-haired man on the left, with a scar on his face, spoke to the other figure beside him, all while coolly shuffling a deck of cards in his hand.

"Faint cries will never draw its attention."

"The countless wandering souls on the battlefield continuously toll the death knell in its ears. How can it continue to slumber?"

"To open its eyes is only a matter of time."

The one on the right spoke with an elegant demeanor, though her words were somewhat enigmatic. Her right eye was wrapped in layers of bandages… In short, her first impression was that of a stunning, yet chuunibyo-esque, young girl.

Sure enough, after hearing her words… the man on the left showed no desire to respond. Instead, he opened his communicator and received a message that surprised him.

"Oh? He has appeared."

After speaking, the surprise on his face turned into excitement and fanaticism.

"No wonder…"

The man's words instantly caught the girl's attention.

A fleeting ripple appeared in her eyes as she spoke, and upon closer inspection… one would notice her body also trembled slightly.

At this moment, the man's attention was clearly entirely on the person who had appeared, so he truly paid no heed to his teammate's state.

"He's in the Gorges of Spirits right now. Do you want to go see?"

The man went straight to the point. His words implied that whether the girl went or not, he would certainly rush there immediately.

"No need. His appearance here cannot yet do anything for me."

"I'll stay and listen to how much the 'people' here can tell me."

The girl pondered for a moment, a hint of resentment in her eyes, and gave this reply.

After speaking, she even put on an act of not caring at all, placing one hand on her hip and using her abilities to communicate with the residual reverberationsof the place.

"Hmph~! That's hard to say. According to the transmitted message… his power seems to have fully recovered."

"Are you really sure you don't want to come with me?"

The man said with a smile, then no longer paid attention to the girl's choice or reaction.

Instead, he strode away with fervent battle intent.

"Fully recovered? Didn't he just awaken?"

"No, that's impossible… Could it be that guy never lost his memories?"

"Damn it, I want to see what's going on."

The girl completely lost her composure after hearing the man's words.

While saying it was impossible, she also feared her speculation would be confirmed… causing the resentment on her face to almost materialize at this moment.

Leaving behind scattered petals of the Red Spider Lily, her figure had already vanished from the spot.

However, just as the two were about to leave, a golden auspicious cloud, enveloping Jinzhou, Black Shores, and Rinascita, appeared before everyone in those three locations.

Soon, the golden light from the auspicious cloud shone upon all the people, Echoes, and Tacet Discords in the three places.

"This is… Could it be that the Lament will descend once more?"

Such an anomaly caused the two to halt their steps. While bathed in the golden light, they were even more horrified to find that with their strength, they were completely unable to avoid it.

Coupled with the boundless, vast expanse of the golden auspicious cloud… it forced them to immediately associate it with the Lament.

And they were clearly not the only two to have such a thought.

At this moment, Jinhsi in Jinzhou had already begun to assemble all combat personnel for battle, while also taking on the task of comforting ordinary residents.

Jue in the Return Capsule, also due to the golden light… once again left the Return Capsule, appearing at the summit of Mt. Firmament, gazing at the sky with unease.

The Butterfly Fairy of Black Shores immediately communicated with the Tethys System, and after receiving results of "uncapturable, unsimulatable, uncalculable." She immediately prepared to depart, intending to go to Jinzhou to bring that man to her side.

Over at Rinascita, the second young lady of the Montelli family immediately suspected Fisalia, believing all of this to be Fisalia's conspiracy.

Meanwhile, Fenrico of the Order of the Deep and Cantarella of Fisalia, upon seeing such a large-scale golden auspicious cloud, both changed their expressions dramatically… revealing sorrowful and pained looks.

It was clear they both knew the situation of their Sentinel, Imperator, so at first, they both mistakenly thought that the Sentinel had been completely corrupted by the Threnodian.

Finally, here at Seven Hills, Augusta, the Magistrate of Seven Hills, along with the Oracle Iuno, immediately announced that Seven Hills was entering full alert mode.

The scene returned to Rover and the two girls.

"This is… Lord Sentinel's miracle? Rover , what exactly happened between you and Lord Sentinel just now?"

Chixia asked with a look of disbelief, and Yangyang also waited intently for Rover's response.

"Clearly, what happened between Lord Sentinel and me just now has no connection to the current situation."

"Furthermore, this situation did not originate from Lord Sentinel~!"

Rover slowly shook his head, giving his answer with a solemn expression.

Even though he couldn't fully gauge Jue's strength yet, he was certain there was no way Jue could surpass him at his peak.

Yet, deep within his heart, it told him… even his peak self would have no possibility of achieving the scene before them.

Let alone Lord Sentinel, who was severely injured and had just been heavily drained by him.
