Adrian's lips held a faint, careless smile, his eyes lounging lazily on her. "You invite me out and still want me to arrange things? Why are you such a lazy junior?"
Serena met his gaze. "I haven't gone on a date in such a long time."
"And you think I was going on dates all these years?" Adrian placed his palm gently atop her head, rubbing it lightly, careful not to mess up her hair.
During the time they'd been apart, neither of them had dated anyone else. Their number of dates was the same.
Serena's eyes flickered thoughtfully, sounding logical as she said, "Even if you haven't eaten pork, you've seen pigs run, right? Sean Wallace is pretty much in love every day. You must have learned a thing or two from him, probably more than me."
Adrian kept his eyes fixed on her, seeing her seriousness and finally letting out a helpless laugh. "What do his love affairs have to do with me? Don't drag me in with him."
"Good point."
