The four words "everything went smoothly" eased Jiang Cheng's anxious heart.
It also made everyone else breathe a sigh of relief.
Jiang Cheng bowed deeply to Uncle Ma and said, "Thank you!"
Uncle Ma weakly waved his hand and shook his head.
Jiang Cheng quickly helped Uncle Ma to sit down, and Grandma Shen immediately brought over a warm cup of tea.
"Uncle Ma, have some water."
Jiang Cheng held the cup, and Uncle Ma drank a bit, finally feeling a bit better.
"I'm fine, I'll be okay after a while. You go in and check on him."
Uncle Ma spoke, and Jiang Cheng responded, "I'll just take a quick look and come right out. Please rest well."
Of course Jiang Cheng wanted to see Shen Que, but there were people with Shen Que, while Uncle Ma was alone.
She couldn't leave Uncle Ma by himself; that would be too heartless.
Uncle Ma nodded, understanding Jiang Cheng's intentions and feeling very appreciative.
Jiang Cheng, Grandma Shen, and the others all entered the room together.
