"What's your phone number?"
On the way to the station with Tian Xin, Lin Zhou pretended to ask casually, as if it was no big deal.
"Phone number?" Tian Xin was still looking at the drawings, momentarily not catching on.
"Yes, your mobile number. Didn't you just buy a phone?" Lin Zhou waved his phone.
"Oh! Right! I forgot!"
"Can I... call you?" Lin Zhou asked cautiously.
"Of course! Why wouldn't you?"
"Then... let me save it?" Lin Zhou handed his phone to Tian Xin.
Tian Xin hesitated for a second, put away the drawing in her bag, took Lin Zhou's phone, and entered her number.
Lin Zhou typed in the name field: "Female Hero."
"What do you mean?" Tian Xin was puzzled.
"In school, there was a time you helped a girl fend off a creep, remember? The way you handled that guy! It was absolutely amazing! I couldn't even hold you back! Ever since then, in my mind, you're a female hero, like someone from a Jin Yong novel."
Lin Zhou spoke earnestly, gesturing as he talked.
