Tian Xin stayed silent, knowing it's not a good time to argue with her. If things get messy, nothing would be found. She turned to check the weighbridge, and the drivers behind were impatiently honking their horns.
She quickly ran back to the window, where Li Meng was already processing data. Tian Xin picked up the tickets, quickly filled in and verified the data, and then handed it to the driver upon confirmation of accuracy.
The driver didn't take it, instead he glanced toward the inside of the weighbridge room and asked Li Meng, "Where's Brother Feng?"
Li Meng replied, "He went out for something!"
The driver asked again, "When is he coming back?"
Li Meng answered, "I don't know!"
Tian Xin was still holding up the tickets, but the driver showed no intention of taking them, and glanced up at her, "Are you new here?"
"Oh, just here to help out!" Tian Xin said.
Li Meng looked up and asked the driver, "You've never seen her before?"
"Never seen her!" the driver said.
