In less than an hour, Master Mo returned with a mop in his hand.
Tian Xin was in the car making a phone call, her face full of anger and impatience.
Seeing Master Mo get into the car, she turned her head to glance at him, then hung up the phone.
"How did it go? Did you see anyone?" She relaxed her tightly furrowed brow and smiled as she asked Master Mo.
Master Mo didn't answer, instead he leaned closer and scrutinized her carefully before finally saying, "Have you been crying?"
"No... no, I haven't! Why would I cry for no reason?" She turned her head in a panic to look out the window, then asked again: "Did you see the director?"
"No!" Master Mo said.
"No?"
She turned her head back, her face full of shock and confusion: "Why did it take you so long to return then?"
"What's with that expression? How does my late return relate to not seeing the director?"
