"Go to the office first, I'll take a call and come down to discuss," Li Jing said to Lin Zhou, covering her phone.
There was no sound from the other end of the line.
Lin Zhou glanced at her and turned to leave.
"Continue, what's going on?"
Li Jing returned to the sofa and resumed the earlier conversation.
"I was saying, try to hold off, don't rush to release the advertisement!" Tian Xin said, "There's an issue with the supply on my end. I'm working on it, but it might take some time. If you haven't released the announcement yet, could we delay it for a few days?"
She spoke quickly and kept a tone of negotiation with Li Jing. But, she was the one who proposed the event initially, and she knew all the procedures. Now she suddenly wants to delay it, doesn't want to meet Lin Zhou, and is nowhere to be found!
Something clearly doesn't add up. There must be something going on!
"Tell me the truth, where exactly are you? Why the sudden delay?" Li Jing asked.
