Chapter 3 - Chapter 2: You're Already Getting Engaged

He's about to get engaged to another woman, so naturally, their relationship must come to an end as per their previous agreement.

But at this moment, she unexpectedly got pregnant.

A child that shouldn't be appearing at this inappropriate time — how could she dare to keep it! Besides, hadn't he said he wouldn't let her bear his child?

Bella Acker bit her lip tightly, and all the words that reached her mouth turned into grievances. Tears started to flow down uncontrollably.

Damian Sinclair saw her sobbing so hard she couldn't catch her breath, the strength in his hand eased a bit, though his expression remained cold and harsh. "Who told you this?"

"Ah?" Bella Acker felt wronged, crying intensely, her brain a bit oxygen-deprived and blank for a moment, unable to react to what he was saying. With tears still hanging, she raised her head and looked at him in confusion.

Damian Sinclair looked at her pale little face streaked with tears, the strength in his hand had completely relaxed, just holding onto her lightly. "Who did you hear say I was getting engaged?"

"Ce... Cecilia." Bella Acker had cried so hard earlier that she had snot flowing, and now as she spoke, it dripped down. She pitifully wrinkled her nose and sniffed it back.

Seeing her like this, Damian Sinclair felt a palpable sense of helplessness, silently staring at her.

"Wh...Snif... What's wrong?" Bella Acker asked pitifully, looking at him. "Damian, are you... you're not getting engaged?"

Damian Sinclair sighed helplessly, taking out a white handkerchief from his coat pocket and covering her nose with it. "Don't listen to other people's nonsense in the future. Blow your nose out; are you not disgusted by just sniffing around like that?"

"Filthy, yet you're still helping me with the handkerchief." Bella Acker pouted and mumbled softly, then blew her nose into the handkerchief with a 'hum' sound.

Damian Sinclair slightly frowned, threw the dirty handkerchief into a wastebasket beside the operating table, and said angrily, "Don't think you can pretend to be pitiful this time and I'll spare you! Get down!"

"Damian, my foot hurts." Bella Acker played the pity card, staying on the operating table without moving, and cheekily stretched out her hands, attempting to have the man in front of her carry her.

"If your foot hurts, crawl back yourself!" Damian Sinclair said coldly, turning around to walk out.

Bella Acker pouted. Once this man gets angry, it's not easy to coax him out of it. But thinking that he wasn't actually getting engaged, she became happy again. So she jumped off the operating table herself.

However, she had been scared, panicked, sad, and aggrieved while lying on the operating table for so long; now it's winter, and her feet had already become somewhat stiff. Jumping directly, a piercing pain suddenly radiated from her ankle.

"Ah!" Bella Acker cried out in pain, supporting herself on the operating table, not daring to move.

Damian Sinclair paused and looked back, "Trying to act pitiful again to gain my sympathy? Bella Acker, do you dare to change your tactics? You use the same trick every time. Even if you aren't bored, I'm sick of it."

"Damian..." Bella Acker blinked her eyes pitifully at him, feeling aggrieved. "I really twisted my ankle, it hurts."

Damian Sinclair frowned, then strode back over, bent slightly and flipped open the hem of her winter skirt; her right ankle was indeed somewhat red.

"Bella Acker, I've never seen a woman as foolish as you!" Damian Sinclair gave her a disdainful cold glance, then bent down to pick her up horizontally, striding out of the operating room.

"Boss," the bodyguards outside greeted him respectfully as he emerged.

"Call Dr. Yates to come to the villa."
