Bella Acker looked at the phone's light, and softly asked: "When did you arrive?"
"Earlier than when you came back." Damian Sinclair didn't hide it.
"Then did you see Senior Quinn bring me back?"
"Hmm."
So he knew she was lying just now, yet didn't expose her.
Knowing Damian's temperament, if he found out she was lying he would definitely be angry, perhaps even questioning her, but this time he didn't say anything.
Has he learned to compromise in relationships?
A small smile appeared on Bella's lips.
Unlike before, she didn't rush to explain why she lied, she just held her phone and said: "I understand. Eat something and go home to rest earlier."
"When will you give me an answer?" Damian asked.
"Soon." Bella replied: "I've already made my decision, I'll text you in a few days."
"You remember what I said, right?" Damian's voice suddenly tightened, an unusual bit of tension in his tone, "I don't accept 'let go' as an answer."
