Mrs. Sinclair had indeed thought about fulfilling the wishes of her younger son, but every time she saw Bella Acker, she would think of her deceased elder son and felt uneasy.
Damian Sinclair looked at her and said, "Ronan Rhodes was responsible for my brother's death. Even now, if he were still alive, I would find ways to avenge my brother. But what does this have to do with Bella Acker? When Ronan died, she was just an infant. Isn't it too unfair to transfer the already settled hatred onto her just because she carries half of Ronan's blood?"
"But..." Mrs. Sinclair wanted to say something more, but was interrupted by Bea, who came to the study after hearing the commotion.
"Mom, I believe that if Brother's spirit is watching over us, he would want Damian to be happy too," Bea said as she walked forward, taking Mrs. Sinclair's arm and speaking softly, "Mom, Bella is innocent, and Damian truly loves her. Please let them be together."
