Holly suddenly felt that her mind was in a mess, like a tangled ball of yarn, chaotic and impossible to sort out.
"Don't overthink it; it won't taste good once it gets cold."
Leo Grant gently ruffled Holly's hair, speaking slowly.
The little girl doesn't need to think too much; his words, though not direct, were somewhat abrupt.
The little girl must be scared.
"Hmm, hmm."
Holly nodded and continued eating her food.
She sneakily glanced at Leo, looking cautious and careful.

If so, why would he like her?
They've only known each other for just over two months, not even three.
"I have some work to do, Holly. Play by yourself for now, okay?"
Leo's phone rang, and after taking a call, he was about to return to the study.
He always had enough patience for Holly, always gentle and indulgent, never willing to get angry at her.
"Okay."
