Lorenzo stares at the door in shock and turned to Javier,
"She's a savage" he said
" I know right and stay away from her, she's off limits" Javier warned him with a stern face.
" Relax buddy,no one want..... but wait, why are you so lenient towards her cause I have never been you toleranting any lady this way, and why are so worked up about her ,do you have a crush on her" Lorenzo rambled.
"Shut up and leave,I'm busy" Javier retorted.
Lorenzo scoffed saying " I'm leaving but will surely come back" and then left banging the door.
'Son of bitch" Javier hissed,' now where is her files before she comes back and kills me her cold her eyes" he mumble with a chuckle.
Mariah lost track of time as she buried her head in her work forgetting it's lunch time.
A knock on her office door from her back to a reality, come in she answered.
" Miss Rivera, it's lunch time, should I please order food or you will prefer to have lunch at the restaurant '.
Julia inquired.
" Let eat out today Julia and also notice the finance department that we will be having an emergency meeting after lunch".
The reception area is buzzing as usual but all activities stopped when the two from the finance team stepped down and they are off course, Miss Rivera( Mariah) and her secretary Julia.
Both women are majestic in their own way, Mariah have the aura of an ice goddess making it hard for people to approach her. On the other hand, Julia is a quiet girl who don't talk much. Though she has been working here for almost five, she has no friends.
Even though she is not as beautiful as her boss, she still has her charm , a quiet lady who is all about work and hardly say to her colleague if it not work.
People especially the ladies always marveled about her bushy eyebrows and natural reddish brown hair making her look so cute and pretty.
So the appearance of these two ladies definitely spike a gossip.
The company's group chat begins to flow with messages. Some one took a picture of them and posted it on the platform making everyone gossip mode appear.
Some comment are in favor of them while others too think otherwise.
Mariah decided not to mind them even though she knows what going on. She just shook her head and head towards the main entrance.
" Miss Rivera, it seems you are so popular and they haven't still stopped mobbing around" ,Julia commented with a little annoyance in her voice though her face shows no emotion. She doesn't like to public attention at all.
" Hmm, it's seems they are free with no work or they just want to go on a long vacation without coming back here". Mariah said in slow and calm voice, which made Julia feel chill at her back.
She knows her boss, even though they just started working together, the more she is calm , the more dangerous she becomes.
Lost in thought, she didn't see that Mariah had stopped, resulting in her bumping at her back.
Mariah couldn't believe her eyes or her mind is playing games with her.

Julia not knowing what is going on peak her head and saw a woman in around her late forties but wait, she looked at Mariah and then the woman,looked at Mariah and then the woman again.
Omg my God , that her mother but ehy does it seems like she is sad , she asked no one in particular.
"Julia go ahead and book a table for us ,I will join you in a bit", Mariah stated sending her secretary away.
"Ok Miss Rivera,see you later than", Julia mumble out loud as she walks towards her car.
Mariah looks at her mom or should she say her executioner standing there with her usual dressings.
At forty nine her mom still look almost young especially when she wears simple dress like this , it seems she still a Chanel lover as the dress she is wearing is one of the latest releases of Chanel clothing.
As always her hair is short, that is shoulder length except that few white strands of hair is appearing. Hah, the dignified Mrs. Alma Rivera is standing here, and has decided to bless her.(sarcasm).
Mariah turned and began to walk away as if she hadn't just seen her mother.
