Scene 74: "In the Pitch-Black Wilds"**
While Labib was walking under the wings of darkness, returning home, he stumbled many times.
He encountered valleys and high grounds, thorns, forests—climbing mountains and descending slopes.
The night was pitch black, and his friend the moon was nowhere to be seen.
His shoes tore from the long journey, and his feet were covered in wounds and blood…
Each time he fell and struggled to stand again, he would speak to himself:
"Get up, O leader… hold on."
He encouraged his own fragile spirit with these words, while a memory drifted through his mind—
the memory of the one who gave him the necklace, yet the image was foggy and unclear.
This happened when he was two or three years old…
Labib had encountered someone in the past—
a person wearing a cloak that made it difficult to distinguish any of his features.
That person approached him, leaned close to his ear, and whispered:
"If you lose hope… if you ever feel alone… then remember that I am always with you…
And remember that I love you more than a mother loves her only child—
the child she bore only after losing all hope for a very long time…
Do not suffer, please… please, do not suffer…"
*Tears were dripping from that person's eyes.*
Then he took out a **shining necklace**, handed it to Labib, and left.
Labib tried to follow him, running behind him:
"Wait… wait…"
But that person moved swiftly, even though his steps appeared slow and silent.
Labib did not hear the words that the stranger said to himself after leaving.
The stranger had said sorrowfully:
"It is your wish… Please, do not suffer…
Do not suffer, even though I know you will…
But I hope you won't… I hope…"
Labib stopped and looked up at the sky, saying:
"I will meet you someday."
Then he stared at his necklace for a moment…
After that, he continued walking.
