Chapter 89 - scene 88

**Earth**

**Scene 88 – "Jim Jamr and Labib's Journey" – "In the City"**

"After they entered the city," Jim Jamr said:

"You've never seen a city before."

Labib replied:

"Yes… this is the first time."

Then Jim Jamr noticed that Labib's features had become harsh and angry.

So he said:

"Is something wrong?"

Labib said:

"There are so many of them… so many people… they are rotten. I hate everyone…

They made me a subject of mockery and ridicule, and I was the reason for their loud laughter…

While I was being torn apart inside…

Bear witness, O days, that they are the rotten ones."

The sky became covered with black clouds. Thunder crashed, lightning flashed, winds blew, and heavy rain began to fall.

Labib got off the bus and stood in the middle of the stormy atmosphere.

Jim Jamr got down and stood beside him, and said:

"What has passed is past, finished, and over.

You must love people, but not a love that makes you blind to their deceit.

You must form friendships, but on the condition that you are cautious about whom you befriend.

Not everyone is like those who ruined your heart and shattered your soul in the past."

Labib Ghaith, in a frightening state, said:

"Jim Jamr, leave me alone."

Then he left the place, walking away.

Jim Jamr remained standing where he was and did not follow him. His own features also turned serious.

Although he was a cheerful boy, full of jokes and lightheartedness, when he entered his serious state he became completely different.

Jim Jamr felt pain in his heart, so he held his chest and said:

"He will calm down… he needs some time…

My heart… it hurts… it hurts."

Then Jim Jamr remembered words that the "Blue Fighter" had once told him:

**The Blue Fighter:**

"Jim Jamr… you are one of the *Seven Pulse Fighters*.

They are the only fighters who can feel compassion, affection, and love toward creatures that do not belong to our world or our land, and be affected by them.

As for the rest of the *Fighters of the Unknown*, they cannot feel such emotions except toward creatures of their own world and land, with a great and sincere love.

All *Fighters of the Unknown*, no matter how different they are, feel each other's pain.

And even if you see one warrior fighting another, be sure that he does so for a reason other than hatred,

and that he holds a great love for him…

And be certain that he will feel his pain as he sinks into the depths of the earth to heal the wounds of his heart."
