The five-member traveling group set out from Celestial City, driving all the way to Dujiangyan, racing towards Wenchuan, passing through Li County, Maerkang, Seda, and Ganzi as they head west. The roadside scenery continually surprises them.
After an hour's drive, past Wenchuan, the mountains visible outside the car windows grow taller, the valleys deeper, and the scenery becomes more three-dimensional.
The sky is clear for miles, the sun shines brightly, and the view is incredibly expansive. Those mountain hollows or valleys are covered with green vegetation, as if painted with a fresh coat of vivid green paint.
On some mountains, there are large patches of pear and apricot trees. In April, the snow-white and fragrant apricot and pear blossoms cluster at the tips of branches, appearing especially pure and vibrant against the backdrop of lush green buds, exuding a lively charm.
