The war has begun.
The gray tide crashed against the city gate, the massive gate crushed directly by colorless divine power, as innumerable gray-robed figures surged into the city like demons from hell.
The defending army finally sprang into action, and Hector, who had been playing cards indoors, finally emerged. He watched the breached gate with bulging veins on his forehead, angrily cursing, "Rejado! Where is Rejado? How can something this big happen without him reporting to me? What are those patrol units doing? Are they all useless?"
Behind him, a few soldiers who had been playing cards with him had uncertain looks on their faces. They knew very well that Rejado was most likely already dead.
Previously, Rejado had already sent people to request to sound the alarm, but Hector did not listen. He didn't even go out of the city to take a look, choosing instead to stay inside playing cards with them, leaving Rejado to handle it on his own.
