After leaving the Four Seasons Hotel, Alex Joe drove straight to the outskirts of Silk City, heading towards a small town on the edge.
The rent in Silk City was too expensive, and even though Alex had graduated several years ago, he could only afford to rent a place in the outskirts. His daily commute on the subway took three to four hours.
Alex planned to drop off the clothes he had just bought at his rented place first, then go out to look for a new house. Now that he had money, he didn't want to live in such a desolate area anymore.
As he reached the entrance of the old community in the small town, an Audi A4 suddenly dashed out from the side.
Screech!If Alex hadn't braked in time, the somewhat worn Audi would have surely crashed into the driver's door of his Koenigsegg.
"Bro, I'm really sorry! I... wait a minute!"

Alex smiled and patted the steering wheel. "Look at you, so clueless! This is the famous Koenigsegg One:1, a limited edition supercar. It costs around $15 million!"
Bruno looked at him with disdain. "Yeah, right! How much did you drink today?"
Annoyed, Alex pulled out his phone and shoved a webpage in his friend's face. "See for yourself!"
Bruno stared at the screen skeptically, but as he read, his eyes widened in disbelief.
"Damn!"
"This car is really worth a billion!""And it's one of only seven in the world, you can't buy it even if you have the money!"
Bruno handed the phone back to Alex Joe wrapping his arms around his neck affectionately.
"Brother Alex, Mr. Alex, Alex!"
"You're really living the high life now!"
"Remember your promise? You gotta help a brother out in the future!"
Alex patted Bruno on the back of the head. "Don't worry, Bruno, I'll take you along for the ride!"
"Get lost!"
Bruno playfully shoved Alex hand away, pushing him aside.
"Get out of the car! A car this good is wasted on you!""Let me have some fun!"
For the past few years, Alex had been living paycheck to paycheck and often relied on his good buddy Bruno when he was short on cash.
The two had a great relationship, constantly bickering and roughhousing.
Even though Alex was now wealthy, Bruno's attitude hadn't changed, which made Berloff feel relieved.
"Hey, this is a top-tier supercar. Do you even know how to drive it?"
Alex slowly unbuckled his seatbelt and pressed the door release button.

The price made him break out in a cold sweat.

Luckily, he had just received a $100,000 advance from World Auto Dealership. Otherwise, even though Alex was driving a supercar worth millions, he wouldn't be able to afford such a lavish meal.

After getting in the car, Alex started the Koenigsegg. With the powerful roar of the engine, the silver supercar shot forward like a beast unleashed."Wow, this car is amazing!"
Bruno, sitting in the passenger seat, was flushed with excitement.

Laughing and joking, the two drove to the Four Seasons Hotel.
As Alex Joe stepped out of the car, a smiling valet approached him eagerly, taking the car keys to park the vehicle. This level of attentive service was a novelty for Alex.Bruno grabbed Alex and headed straight to the eighth-floor dining area of the hotel.
"The seafood buffet at the Four Seasons is famous all over Silk City. Finally, we get to enjoy it today!"
Once they reached the eighth floor, Alex paid the bill, and Bruno excitedly grabbed a tray, piling it high with food.
