Thunder rolled over the mountains beyond Soren Town.
But far from the cheerful streets and open arenas, deep beneath the industrial city of Zeirth, another kind of battle was taking place.
A vast underground complex spread beneath the ground — a metallic labyrinth filled with glowing spirit pods and humming generators.
Men and women in dark uniforms moved like shadows, their gauntlets gleaming with crimson light.
At the center of the chamber, a giant emblem burned on the floor:
Ω — The Core Dominion.
The Core Dominion Organization.
Once a government-approved research division for Spirit-Core synchronization.
Now, corrupted by greed and control, it sought to create the ultimate spirit masters — ones who could command not just one beast… but many.
[Scene 1 – The Training Hall]
"Subject-47, release control limit: 90 percent."
Electric arcs danced around the arena as a boy stood alone in the middle — no older than Riku, but his eyes burned with something darker.
Silver hair streaked with red lightning. A jagged scar over his left eye.
His name: Kaen Drayze.
Before him, a massive dragon-shaped spirit hovered, chained by glowing restraints — roaring and thrashing against invisible bonds.
Instructor (coldly): "Your synchronization ratio is unstable again, Kaen. Control it… or it will control you."
Kaen's voice was quiet but sharp.
"I don't control it. I command it."
He clenched his gauntlet — a black, spiked design with twin cores embedded at the wrist.
The restraints shattered with a blinding flash.
"Now… Draygion! Break free and strike!"
The dragon roared, exploding in a storm of violet flame that tore through the reinforced walls.
Alarms screamed. Smoke filled the room.
From behind protective glass, a man in a white coat smirked.
"His synchronization rate just exceeded 98%. Impressive. If we can replicate this level of control… the Core Dominion will own every region."
Another voice — colder, older.
"Make no mistake. We aren't creating heroes. We're creating weapons."
[Scene 2 – The Command Chamber]
A woman in a black cape stood over a circular table projecting a holographic map of spirit concentrations across the continent.
"Phase One is complete," she said. "Our agents have already infiltrated the Spirit Cup qualifiers. Soon, we'll gather the strongest cores for testing."
The older man beside her — known only as Director Valen — placed a gloved hand on the map, covering the region where Soren Town glowed faintly.
"That boy from the Lightning Province… Riku Ardent, wasn't it?"
He smiled thinly. "The wolf-spirit bond rate is unusually pure. If we can corrupt his core, he might serve our design."
The woman frowned. "He's just a child."
Valen's eyes glimmered cold. "Every legend begins with a child. And ends with a god."
[Scene 3 – Kaen's Reflection]
In the dim corridor, Kaen sat alone, staring at his reflection in a broken mirror.
Draygion's faint silhouette shimmered behind him, wings folded, eyes glowing red.
Draygion: "Why do you follow them, Kaen?"
Kaen: "Because they gave me purpose. Because the world outside fears us."
Draygion: "And when they're done using you?"
Kaen smirked faintly. "Then I'll burn the leash myself."
The dragon rumbled in silent approval.
From the shadows, the woman in the cape watched silently. For a second, her expression softened — almost pitying him.
Woman (thinking):
> "He reminds me of myself… before I realized what the Dominion really was."
[Scene 4 – Transition]
Back in Soren Town, Riku and Bolt trained beneath a clear blue sky, laughing and shouting, unaware of the storm slowly building over the horizon.
A gust of wind brushed through the trees — carrying with it a faint echo of a dragon's roar.
Bolt twitched his ears. "Riku… did you hear that?"
Riku smiled, wiping sweat from his brow. "Hear what?"
The sound faded.
But far above the clouds, a spark of violet lightning danced — and for the first time, their destinies began to cross.
💥 End of Chapter 4
Next: "The
Boy with the Dragon Core."
> The world begins to shift.
And the storm draws closer to Soren Town.
Author's Note:
Hey, listen up… 😅
Forgive me, okay? I sneaked in two extra chapters today because my Wi-Fi was on the verge of death. So zoom through them before it disappears! And if nothing shows up at home… just blame it on Nepali internet—it officially quit on me. 💛
