The baby dragon had grown slightly larger and more curious.
While Zuri tried to speak to the intruder, the dragon sniffed the magician's robe… and sneezed tiny sparks directly at his feet.
The magician yelped, tripping over the dragon, and tumbled into Zuri, sending both into a pile of cushions.
"Chaos," Zuri whispered, brushing herself off. "Welcome to my life."
Caden, watching from the doorway, tried not to laugh. "It's… very… lively."
The intruder coughed. "I… I didn't expect… dragons…"
Zuri grinned. "Neither did I. But hey, now you've met my little fireball friend!"
The dragon chirped and sneezed again. Sparks hit a suit of armor. Rowan groaned.
"Someone stop me before I accidentally destroy the castle," Zuri muttered
