Chapter 1 - C0 -Power Structure

Conceptual & Fictional Manipulation

1. Different types of "Power".

Conceptual Power

Ability to influence and alter the fundamental laws of the world (physics, constants, universal principles).

Note: Conceptual power is so rare that most consider it myth. It is barely studied or understood.

Fiction Power

Acts as an overlay or addition to the natural laws, creating illusions or fictional constructs that are perceived as real within the world.

Enables the creation of fictional elements, such as fire, ice, force, and illusions.

These constructs are real, but they are temporary because natural laws ultimately restore reality.

Key Point: All fictional constructs eventually fade or are corrected by the world's natural laws.

2. Primary Usage

Fiction Power

Functions as standard fantasy magic (mana, spellcasting, magical enhancements, enchanted tools).

Forms the backbone of civilization's magic-based technologies and artifacts.

Conceptual Power

Extremely rare and not understood by most.

Considered theoretical or legendary due to its scarcity.

3. Who Can Use These Powers?

Answer: Weavers Only

Only Weavers can access and control either Conceptual or Fiction Power.

Types of Weavers:

Normal Weavers: Weavers who can manipulate the world through their innate or trained abilities, but cannot directly influence the fundamental laws of nature.

Conceptual Weavers: Extremely rare Weavers with the ability to directly control and alter the underlying laws of the world.

4. How to Awaken These Powers

Natural Awakening: Talented individuals manifest abilities early in life or at birth.

Rite of Passage (Coming-of-Age Ritual): The unawakened is placed in a high-Thrum environment to trigger awakening forcibly.

Extreme Circumstances: Near-death experiences in Thrum-rich locations may awaken both Conceptual and Fiction powers simultaneously.

5. This World's Energy

The main use of power is derived from the Fiction side, called Thrum.

Thrum (Fiction Power)

States of Thrum:

Atmospheric Thrum: Raw and unrefined form of Thrum.

Exclusive Thrum: Thrum that has been absorbed and refined, stored inside a tool or within a person.

Subsist Thrum: The state of thrum released from the exclusive state. It can manifest as spells, tool enhancements, or other forms of release.
