"Are you serious about this, I thought you print something like how to rebuild society or DIY weapon, you know something that will help us"

"You flush toilet it goes through pipe than end up in septic tank"
"Then why the toilet bowl have water, what is the purpose and why it's didn't go in a drain how did it manage to keep the water level and not overflow"
"Emmm, valve?"
"See, we don't know how long we stuck in here and I don't want to see overflowing toilet"
"We can use bucket and throw it outside" Chole talk as if it's something obivious Rin just stare at Chloe, dumbfounded, even Gina and Stella has to take a second look at Chloe.
"That's a joke, can you add how to make beer"
"sure" Rin answer instantly as she didn't want to entertain Chloe older idea
"Rin, could you please get traditional medicine recipe" Stella added
"Going for alchemist route aren't you, then can you get drone schematic. I'm gonna be artificer"
"You can just get drone in mall, or if we going back to your place"
"Make sense, how about furnace?"
And so they took their time to discuss what they need to prepare, until the ink bleed out, they manage to get most of the basic, wellbeing, they even manage to throw something entertaining. But the discussion has to stop because of a blaring loud sound from air raid siren, they all watching over from the windows yet they can only see trail of smoke in the sky, it doesn't aim at their city, but it's still a sight to see.
"Did the south send another attack"
"Or misfire, anyway look the zombie is moving now" Gina point at the zombie following the missile
"Let's go outside" Chloe point, a rare moment where most of zombie moves out trying to attack the raid siren.
"We need to move" Rin voices clear, as she just check her phone, the alert it's not just for missile but also nuclear, an ICBM from another continent aiming at the capital city.
Yet there is not much place they can go for, the zombie running around on the street, they can't drive away as they don't have transportation. The shelter is not a good idea, having a lot of people in one enclosed space is never been a good idea.
Then Chloe suggest they hide in safe room in landlord house, but if it didn't work they might just has to hide in closet.
They move swiftly following their civil defense training, the only one who carry backpack is Rin and Chole because Stella and Gina didn't plan to stay for another night, they took clothes, med kit and hygiene stuff. Their weapon is mere mop, knife and chair, yet it's better than empty hand.
"I'm front" Gina said confidently lifting wooden stool, using it like a shield.
"It's safe" Rin said, as she scout the alley and it's corner. Before they proceed to open the landlord door

The door is not locked and from the outside it's empty with the house cluttered and scattered stuff on the floor, they believed the landlord has already escape yet an ominous feeling slowly creeping in.
"There is a blood" A trail of blood leading down to basement, they all stop moving trying to asses the situation.
"Should we go in?" They all unsure, they can spot blood splatter suggesting that someone got hit or fall to basement, their time is limited as they don't know how long until the nuclear missile arrive.
"Let's called the person downstair" Rin suggest "We can use this sofa to block the door, if they are human we can try to negotiate, if it's zombie we can lure it"
At Gina called, a figure slowly emerging from downstair, it's an overweight zombie moving slowly with broken arm, even without sofa the zombie can't even reach upstair as it's already having a hard time walking upstair, they all watching the zombie pathetic attempt, climbing the stair and falling downstair again.
Finally Chloe kill the zombie with the mob, a satisfied smile plastered her face as she just took a revenge at her own landlord, then they drag the landlord outside, before letting it roll on the alley, making it fall on the main street.
"That was fun" Gina comment as she watch the zombie roll from inclined road down to main street.
"It's cramped" Rin protest, as the four of them and their stuff crampt in safe room barely 3 meters. Unsure if they will be affected by the blast or not so they decide to stay for 2 days hiding from radiation incase of nuclear fall out.
"I don't think this will help us in case of nuclear fallout"
"But it's still better than nothing right" Stella trying to stay optimist
Then they went silent a rare moment of silent.
The building start rattling, not from seismic activity but from human hands, the city was blown apart and the surrounding was flattened by the shockwave. Yet it's not the only missiles, followed by other missile the ground was charred, huge fire tornado was created and oxygen was depraved. The world is a living hell now.
Despite the threat of zombie looming, humanity still manages to create more disaster, a single reading mistake leading into a nuclear war, yet somehow the zombie apocalypse dampen the effect as some authorized person has turned into zombie.
The light from the explosion can be seen even from outer space as country got bombarded, fire rages on the earth for days before the earth plunge into darkness from nuclear winter. No one knows what happened next, communication was lost, electricity is gone and light hide behind dark cloud.
