At this moment, the energy barrier surrounding Chu Linfeng was constantly thinning under the purple flames, even as he continuously infused it with chaotic immortal power. Without this infusion, it might not have lasted more than a few breaths, showing just how powerful these purple flames were.
However, Chu Linfeng also felt the true destructive power of the flames. With his mastery over fire, he could still absorb it. The quality of this purple flame was one level higher than the black flame, or perhaps even higher than the celestial fire, belonging to the true category of divine fire.
The energy barrier was quickly destroyed by the purple flame, and Chu Linfeng was immediately surrounded, but even though he used the fire transformation, he could not blend into the purple flame. Nonetheless, it was also impossible for the purple flame to truly harm him.
