📜 Chapter — The Secret of the Cube
Odin turned his gaze toward Hades and gestured for him and the others to follow.
Without another word, Odin disappeared—along with his brothers and Hela.
In an instant, they arrived at the shore, far from the place where the giant woman had come from.
Hades looked at Odin with curiosity but said nothing… waiting to see what Odin intended.
After a few moments…
Hades and the other rulers felt something strange in the sky.
Suddenly, they looked up—
And saw a bizarre creature with dozens of eyes and countless wings!
Hades reacted with mild shock: "Is that one of your ravens, Odin? What happened to it?!"
Before he could finish—
The creature suddenly changed form, splitting into multiple ravens that scattered in every direction!
Then one raven flew straight toward them.
Athena frowned in confusion: "Since when do your ravens have the ability to merge into such a creature?"
Odin laughed lightly: "I found a place filled with dark energy… you've seen it already."
He continued: "My ravens benefited greatly from that place."
At that moment, the rulers remembered the vision Odin had shown them—the ruined imperial capital.
Hades thought for a moment, then asked: "Did your raven retrieve treasures from the human empire?"
Odin glanced at the raven landing on his shoulder and smiled: "It brought back something far more valuable."
Poseidon narrowed his eyes: "Does it have something to do with the disaster that struck the capital?"
Odin shook his head slightly: "No… I don't think so."
Then he said: "See for yourselves."
He reached his hand into the raven's body in a strange manner…
And pulled out a mysterious cube.
The moment Hades saw it, he felt danger and rushed forward: "Be careful, brother! That cube is dangerous!"
Odin laughed calmly: "No… I've already sensed what's inside."
Hades closed his eyes and examined it…
Then opened them in shock: "A strange energy… is this the power of rulers?! But how?!"
Odin smiled: "One of the exiled rulers returned to our world… but in the form of a distorted corpse."
He continued: "By coincidence, the crown prince—who mastered ancient magic—captured it inside this cube."
Hela asked curiously: "Why bring it here, Odin?"
Athena added: "No—how did you even get it from the crown prince?"
Odin chuckled: "It was easier than you think… he wanted to get rid of it. He knew it wouldn't hold forever… so he handed it over willingly."
Hades looked at the cube thoughtfully: "What do you want us to do with it?"
Poseidon smirked: "Isn't it obvious? He wants to use it as a weapon."
He continued: "We destroy the creature's consciousness… and keep its power."
Odin nodded with a smile: "Exactly."
Then he said in a calm but dangerous tone: "I gathered you here to erase its consciousness… so we can use it as a weapon."
He raised the cube slightly: "Imagine this… a cube containing the power of a death ruler—power that never fades."
"A terrifying weapon for Asgard… if we ever face danger."
The others thought for a moment… then nodded in agreement.
But Hela remained silent.
Finally, she asked: "How will we erase its consciousness?"
She looked at the cube: "And… will this small cube even survive that process?"
Odin glanced at it and said lightly: "Of course it won't."
Then he smiled: "That's why… we'll create something bigger."
Before anyone could question him—
He waved his hand toward the hall they came from: "My ravens have already brought materials from Mira…"
Then he said firmly: "And what we need to build the vessel for this ruler… is already there."
