Poseidon looked at the giant octopus with embarrassment for a few seconds, but he quickly regained his composure—or at least tried to.
Then he pointed at it with feigned anger and shouted:
"Are you an idiot or something?!"
He pointed toward Odin as he continued:
"Of course Odin can understand you! Were you trying to deceive and mislead me all this time, you fool?!"
Silence filled the area for a moment.
Then both Odin and the giant octopus looked at Poseidon with expressions full of mockery.
Odin spoke in a low voice:
"Are you seriously trying to make it look like the octopus is the one at fault here, you shameless scoundrel?"
The moment the giant octopus heard that, it felt as though it had finally found someone who understood its suffering.
Immediately, it raised one of its enormous tentacles into the air. The thing was as large as a giant tower.
Then it roared furiously:
"Take this, you conscience-less bastard!"
The massive tentacle shot toward Poseidon like a gigantic spear tearing through the air.
"How can you trick your friend and drag him into such an embarrassing situation?!"
Poseidon looked at the incoming tentacle rushing toward him at terrifying speed.
Suddenly, every trace of pride and courage vanished from his face.
They were replaced by pure terror.
He immediately ran behind Odin and hid behind his back while screaming:
"Save me! Save me, brother!"
Then he pointed at the giant octopus as though he were an innocent victim.
"It's a monster! It wants to kill your beloved brother!"
He continued dramatically:
"This beast has gone insane!"
Meanwhile, Odin watched the entire scene with a completely expressionless face.
To him, it looked like an unbelievably ridiculous play.
He knew very well that Poseidon could defeat this octopus easily without shedding a single drop of blood.
In fact, the difference in strength between them was extremely obvious.
And yet...
Here was the God of the Seas hiding behind him like a small child.
And shamelessly continuing to scream.
Odin let out an annoyed sigh.
Then he looked at the gigantic tentacle rushing toward him.
At the very last moment...
He grabbed Poseidon by the back of his clothes.
Lifted him up as though he were a small doll.
And threw him directly toward the giant octopus.
"Go solve your own problems."
Poseidon screamed:
"WAAAAAIT!"
But it was already too late.
His body shot forward like a human projectile.
And slammed directly into the giant octopus.
A tremendous explosion of water erupted.
The two instantly turned into a giant ball of chaos before crashing together into the ocean.
Massive waves surged in every direction.
And the attack that had been heading toward Odin disappeared completely.
Odin stood there watching the two sink into the water while continuing to argue and fight endlessly.
Then he shook his head helplessly.
Afterward, he looked toward the rest of the gigantic sea monsters gathered near the shore.
Suddenly, his spiritual power spread in every direction.
He did not speak.
He did not move.
But he sent a single command.
"Leave."
In the next instant, every sea monster trembled.
They had sensed a terrifying power far beyond their own.
Even though Odin had released only a tiny fraction of his aura...
It was enough.
Every monster immediately turned around.
Then they rushed back toward the depths of the ocean as fast as possible.
Within only a few minutes...
The shore became completely quiet once more.
The monsters were gone.
The noise was gone.
Only the sound of the waves remained.
Odin looked at the calm ocean.
Then he chuckled lightly as he began walking away.
He muttered to himself:
"I should find Hades as well."
A faint smile appeared on his face.
"I want to know whether he raised terrifying monsters like Poseidon did."
But...
Before he could go much farther...
His footsteps suddenly stopped.
The smile vanished completely from his face.
Slowly, he turned toward the distant horizon.
Toward the direction of the Demonic Continent.
He had sensed something extremely strange.
Something that caused him to freeze in place.
His eyes widened slightly.
Then he spoke in a worried tone that had not appeared on his face in a very long time.
"What..."
He fell silent for a moment.
Before continuing in a lower voice:
"What in Asgard's name is happening in the Demonic Continent?"
At that moment...
A very bad feeling began creeping into the King of Asgard's heart.
As though he was about to discover something that could change everything.
Far away from Asgard...
Deep within the Demonic Continent, a raven stood atop a towering rocky peak, staring at the enormous demonic aura that had begun spreading across the entire continent in a terrifying fashion.
The black energy stretched across the sky like an endless sea while surging in every direction with such force that even the earth itself trembled.
The moment the raven saw the demonic aura expanding farther and farther, the voices of demons began rising everywhere.
"The King has recovered!"
"The Demon King has recovered!"
"We will conquer the world!"
"We will destroy our enemies!"
"We will erase the races!"
"Our King has returned!"
The cries became endless waves of cheers.
With countless demons spread across every corner of the continent, it sounded as though the entire land itself was shouting with a single voice.
Inside Medusa's cave...
Medusa and Lilith were sitting beside the little girl, trying to entertain her with simple games.
But suddenly...
Both of them stopped at the same time.
The smiles disappeared from their faces.
They had sensed the terrifying demonic energy that swept across the entire continent.
They looked at one another.
No words were necessary.
Both immediately understood the reason.
The Demon King had recovered.
Their eyes widened in shock.
They had expected him to need several more years before fully regaining his strength.
But what had happened exceeded their expectations by far.
However, their surprise did not last long.
It was quickly replaced by happiness.
A broad smile appeared on Medusa's face.
While relief spread across Lilith's.
The two immediately stood up.
They wanted to go congratulate the Demon King as soon as possible.
But before leaving, Medusa knelt before the little girl and said seriously:
"Stay inside the cave."
Then she added in a firmer tone:
"And do not leave it no matter what happens."
The little girl looked at her mother and aunt in confusion.
She did not fully understand why.
So she simply nodded.
Moments later, Medusa and Lilith hurried out of the cave.
The little girl remained alone.
Or so she thought.
In reality, the funny raven was still there.
The moment it noticed her sadness after they left, it began hopping around in a bizarre manner.
Then it spun in circles and intentionally fell onto the ground.
After that, it flapped its wings wildly and dramatically.
Until it looked more like a clown than a raven.
The little girl quickly burst into laughter.
The raven proudly continued performing its ridiculous acrobatic tricks.
Elsewhere...
Within the demonic capital...
The Demon King stood upon his massive throne.
His enormous body resembled a towering black mountain.
Demonic energy poured endlessly from him, to the point that even the air seemed to tremble beneath the pressure of his power.
Yet despite his terrifying presence...
He was laughing.
A laugh filled with happiness and relief.
He had finally recovered.
At last, both his body and power had returned to him.
Meanwhile, hordes of demons began gathering around his palace from every direction.
Their numbers were terrifying.
If any member of another race had witnessed this sight, they would have been filled with fear immediately.
It was common knowledge among all races that the demons vastly outnumbered most others.
Their rate of reproduction was almost absurd compared to the rest of the world.
For that reason alone, the Demonic Continent was considered one of the most dangerous powers in existence.
The Demon King looked at the rulers who had arrived one after another to greet him.
Then his eyes shifted toward his daughter.
She was standing beside Medusa.
He was slightly surprised.
After all, he knew very well that his daughter's relationship with Medusa had not been particularly close in the past.
But seeing the two together now filled him with satisfaction.
More than that...
It made him happy.
He had always wanted his daughter to possess greater influence among the rulers of the demons.
And until recently, she had not formed any true friendships with any of them.
Now...
She was finally moving in the right direction.
A satisfied smile appeared on his face.
Then he rose from his throne.
The instant he stood...
Silence fell.
The voices stopped.
The cheering ceased.
Every eye became focused solely on him.
The Demon King looked at his people.
At the millions of demons gathered before him.
Then he raised his head proudly.
A terrifying aura exploded from his body and shook both heaven and earth.
He spoke in a deep voice overflowing with power and majesty:
"I have recovered."
The entire Demonic Continent trembled with his words.
Then his smile widened as he continued:
"The time has come..."
His eyes turned into glowing crimson.
"...to make the world feel our presence once again."
In the next moment...
The cheers of the demons erupted like an endless storm, making it seem as though the entire Demonic Continent had awakened from a long slumber.
