After some explanations.

Tamayo touched her chin in consideration. She gets the gist of what Tanjuro meant and his request.

"So, you want me to study your physique and blood?"

Tamayo placed her hand back on her lap as she asked Tanjuro. She did notice that the man knew she was a doctor without confirming it first.

She glanced again at Tanjuro's earrings.

'Could it be... Ubuyashiki who told him...?'

Tamayo fell into deep thought. Even if he didn't request it, Tamayo would have asked him for a check-up where she could then formally question him about his body and blood.

Perhaps it was because of her sins in the past or perhaps because of her hatred of Muzan.

She will help the person who wears hanafuda earrings to atone.

It is the only reason Tamayo continues the meaning of her existence.

"That's right." Tanjuro nodded; relief washed over his being as the other party understood his request.

It is quite difficult to explain the current state of his body.

After that, he needs to ensure her cooperation in targeting Muzan.

"I have eaten the Blue Spider Lily."

Tanjuro casually dropped this piece of news, which shocked Tamayo speechless.

The atmosphere between the three of them became as silent as death.

Even Yushiro, who was pissed at how casually Tanjuro talked, was stunned into silence.

—Blue Spider Lily.

He heard of this particular flower species from Tamayo-sama herself.

It was the last piece of ingredient that Muzan had been searching desperately for to overcome his weakness of the sun.

But for thousands of years, Muzan's effort to create countless demons to help him search for the elusive flower has remained useless.

And now...

Yushiro stared blankly at Tanjuro and stiffly turned his head to look at Tamayo.

Tamayo's reaction mirrored Yushiro's as she also glanced at him and then back at Tanjuro.

She opened her mouth to say something, but nothing came out. She is still trying to discern the truth of Tanjuro's sentence in her mind.

Tamayo is quickly reminded of where she is and looks around. Even though there was no one else anymore in the street, she still exercised caution.

"Kamado-san..." Her expression was serious as she pursed her lips.

"This is not the kind of matter you say out here."

"Please follow me."

Then, she turned around and motioned for Tanjuro to follow her.

The group walked through the nearby broken walls and ruins of the building.

After a twist and turn.

Tanjuro came to a house with dignified decoration.

The undamaged mansion was in stark contrast to the ruins surrounding it. It seemed that Yushiro had used his Blood Demon Art to prevent the explosion from affecting the area.

"We're here." Tamayo led Tanjuro to the entrance of the mansion. She reached out and gently pushed the door to the side.

"Please come in."

...

In the brightly lit guest room.

Tamayo was sitting opposite of Tanjuro while Yushiro was serving tea. After that, Yushiro took a seat beside Tamayo as they continued their conversation.

Tamayo hesitated to begin. Her expression was a little unnatural as she finally processed Tanjuro's shocking news.

"Let's continue with the topic we were just discussing."

"Kamado-san... You... the fact that you ate a Blue Spider Lily..."

"...can you tell me more about it?" Tamayo tentatively asked.

"Yes." Tanjuro nodded.

"My wife discovered the location where the Blue Spider Lilies bloom a few years ago." Tanjuro explains with a little smile on his face, remembering that particular memory with his wife.

"It's a flower that doesn't bloom every year, but when it does bloom, it is only for a short time."

"It grows very close to the top of the mountain where I lived."

"There are... few words to describe how beautiful it is when it's finally in bloom."

Tanjuro described in detail the Blue Spider Lily, and Tamayo's expression became even more cautious.

She lowered her head, lost in thought as her fingers trembled slightly, unnoticed by those not seeking it.

This matter had too much importance for her to hope. Tamayo doesn't know whether he was lying or not. His story is as close to evidence as she could find.

Would she dare to believe?

...

"...please, please let me take some of your blood, Kamado-san."

Tamayo moved herself to a dogeza, her head bowing.

"This is of utmost importance to me... No! To everyone!"

Her voice trembled from the excitement at the prospect of experimenting with the Blue Spider Lily essence.

The final ingredients for demons to overcome sunlight!

With Tanjuro's blood, Tamayo was confident that she would be able to obtain something of value.

And most importantly,

'It can have a negative impact on that guy!'

Tamayo was so excited that she couldn't keep her emotions in control like she usually did.

"Tamayo-sama..."

Yushiro noticed Tamayo's fluctuating emotion. He looked over to her in concern.

The hand on his black hakama clenched unconsciously as his brows furrowed.

"Of course, that is exactly what I am requesting, Tamayo-san."

Tanjuro nodded. He was in a good mood that Tamayo was willing to work with him so readily.

"Our goals are the same."

"As long as it is useful in our fight, I'll do my best to cooperate with you."

With that, Tanjuro reached out his hand and rolled up his sleeve to reveal his muscular forearm. His Dragon's Heritage had already restored some of his vitality.

"We can start right now."

"Thank you." Tamayo nodded gratefully. She slowly stood up to retrieve her medical equipment, her steps a little hurried due to her excitement.

Thump.

She stumbled and almost lost her balance.

"Tamayo-sama!" Yushiro saw and rushed over to support her just in time.

"Please sit down; I'll take care of the rest."

He slowly helped Tamayo sit down again as he rummaged through the cabinet on the other side of the room.

After finding the necessary equipment, Yushiro made his way over to Tanjuro.

Several minutes later.

Puchi.

Yushiro pulled the last syringe full of blood from Tanjuro's arm.

The crystal red blood seems to reflect light under the brightly lit room.

He carefully placed the fourth blood-filled syringe into the wooden box.

Tanjuro holds the needle hole with his index finger. After he swiped for a while, he noticed that his arm had already stopped bleeding.

He slowly stood up and said his goodbye abruptly, confusing Tamayo and Yushiro at the sudden farewell. Before they could hold him, though, Tanjuro left in a hurry.

He felt anxious.

He's looking forward to going to the Butterfly Mansion.

The reason he didn't immediately follow his family was because he feared his Dragon's Heritage stealing their life force.

If his family contracted the Dragonrot, he would never forgive himself. He would spend the rest of his life in regret.

Now, however,

Tanjuro felt the two resurrection orbs that lit up in his mind as well as his body restored physical strength. His heart was filled with joy.

He is going home.
