Dorothy's POV
I sprint to the railing, my eyes tracking Joseph as he transforms into his wolf form. Even from this distance, I catch the subtle tremor that runs through his body during the shift. Anyone else would have missed it, but I know what to look for.
Damn it. That leg isn't ready for this kind of stress.
"Back to square one," I mutter under my breath, grabbing shorts and pulling them on while racing down the stairs. My hair gets twisted into a messy ponytail, secured with a quick knot that will have to suffice.
"Luna, over here!" calls a pregnant pack member, gesturing toward the safe room.
"I'm not hiding," I announce, causing nearly every person in the room to freeze and stare at me.
I face them directly. "I'm a doctor. Your packmates are going to need medical attention. Move! Anyone on the medical staff who isn't pregnant or caring for small children, get to the hospital immediately!"
