"Are you sure? Maybe it was someone who just looked like him" Nohara said.
"I only saw part of the face, and it looked similar. He was wearing a coat with the hood up" Ania explained.
"Maybe someone is trying to impersonate you, Derivan" Nohara stated.
"You think?' Yashimiro turned to Ania. "My name is Yashimiro, but you can call me Derivan. I would never hurt anyone without a reason. You must have seen a double of mine. Don't be afraid I'll find him and make him pay for what he did" he said, extending his hand toward the girl.
Ania looked at Nohara.
"He's right. You can trust him."
"Alright… "Ania hesitantly shook the teenager's hand.
"I'll get going then. I'll leave you alone I don't want to stress her unnecessarily" he announced, making Nohara look at him strangely. "What?"
"I'm surprised you're able to think about someone other than yourself. You've changed a bit."
"See? People change. See you tomorrow."
At the same time, Derivan's double was destroying another city when he was suddenly surrounded by magical knights.
"Stop! In the name of the Magic Council, you are under arrest. Don't make your situation worse. Capture him!"
As the knights approached the man, he released a shockwave that devastated the area for dozens of kilometers, leaving behind only skeletons of the knights.
"You really thought worms like you could defeat me? Clearly you've learned nothing all this time."
The next day…
Nohara came to Derivan's house. After knocking, Kira opened the door.
"Hey, how can I help you?"
"I came to see Derivan."
"You mean Yashimiro" Kira carefully looked over the red-haired teenager, then smiled. "You must be Yashimiro's girlfriend, am I right?" she suggested, making Nohara blush.
"That's not true" we're just friends.
"Your lips say one thing, but your face says another."
"And who are you?"
"My name is Kira, and I'm Yashimiro's sister."
Nohara looked at Kira oddly.
"Strange Derivan never mentioned you."
"I'm not surprised. He himself didn't realize it until two years ago."
"What do you mean?"
"That's something Yashimiro should tell you"Kira let Nohara inside. "Mom, we have a guest!"
"Oh, hello Nohara. Please make yourself comfortable."
"Thank you."
"Yashimiro, come out of your room" we have a guest!
After a few moments, Derivan came out of his room and was surprised to see Nohara.
"So you decided to come after all."
"Of course. Did you forget what I said yesterday?"
Mozalia served the meal.
"Lunch is ready, sit down."
After eating and spending a pleasant time in the Dakero residence, Nohara left. Derivan decided to take a walk and escort his friend.
"You have a really nice family" Nohara praised.
"Thanks."
"Tell me something. I've always wondered. If your family lives here in the Kingdom of Ozoro, what were you doing in Kasegi?"
The question surprised the teenager. He stayed silent for a moment before answering.
"Honestly… I have no idea."
"What do you mean?"
"How should I put it… I don't remember anything from the first eight years of my life as if I completely forgot it. The first thing I remember is ending up in Kasegi."
"That's very strange. You must have been separated from your family for so many years."
"Actually, I first learned about them during a trip to Silono" Yashimiro told her about what happened there.
Nohara was shocked by the situation involving Laura.
"I'm sorry… I didn't know… Damn, if I had been there with you, maybe that wouldn't have happened."
"You don't have to feel guilty. Everyone was trying to fend off the goblin attacks… The only one who can feel guilty is me, for being so weak" Derivan said, clenching his fists. "That's mainly why I started training."
Their conversation absorbed them so much that they didn't notice they had reached Ania's apartment.
"We're here. Thanks for telling me all that. I feel like I understand you a bit better now."
"Hehehe, no problem. See you" After saying goodbye, they went their separate ways.
In one of the Black Blood group's hideouts, Yarita met with their leader.
"Honorable Gerard, I have good news. My people have located the place where a fragment of the Kinotro crystal is kept."
Gerard smiled upon hearing this.
"Excellent."
Meanwhile, two men arrived in the city of Silono. They looked very similar probably brothers and had guitars on their backs.
"Look, Mario" we finally found the place.
"It took a while, but we made it. Come on, Milok let's get what we came for."
"You're right, bro."
The brothers headed toward city hall. When they arrived, they saw Mayor Henry standing outside talking to someone.
"You must be the mayor of this village" Mario began.
"Yes, that's correct, but I'd prefer you not speak about my city that way."
"I'll speak however I like. Now tell us where the Kinotro crystal fragment is."
"I won't tell you anything."
At that reply, the brothers smiled at each other.
"Go ahead Mario, time to present our repertoire" Milok announced, pulling out his guitar.
"Time for the Red Star Brothers show!"
The Red Star Brothers began playing. Hearing the sounds, Henry and the townspeople immediately fell asleep.
"That was easy."
"Let's search the city."
After several dozen minutes, they found the Kinotro crystal fragment.
"Hey who are you and what are you doing here?" Eric appeared on the scene.
"Look bro" seems someone's still awake."
"What did you do to the townspeople?"
"Don't worry, you'll join them soon" one of the brothers took out his guitar and played, putting Eric to sleep.
"Alright, nothing left for us here. Let's go."
"The boss will be pleased."
The next day, Derivan and Nohara were showing Ania around the Kingdom of Ozoro.
"So, how do you like the city, Ania?" Yashimiro asked.
"It's much bigger than where I used to live, but it's pretty nice" the blonde girl admitted.
"I'm glad you like it."
Suddenly, something fell from the sky nearby. Derivan and Nohara immediately ran toward it to make sure it wasn't dangerous. When they arrived, they saw a bruised young boy.
"Who is he? He must be someone extraordinary to survive a fall from that height" Nohara said.
"We should take him to the hospital" Derivan stated.
"Are you sure? What if he's dangerous?"
"Then I'll stop him. We can't just leave him like this" Derivan lifted the unconscious boy and decided to carry him to the hospital.
