Chapter 124: Qing Shan Town, Xiao Yi Xian

"Don't worry, these small fries can't cause much trouble," Xiao Li waved his hand dismissively.

Hearing this, Xiao Yan smiled.

In truth, bringing these clan members to the Jia Ma Empire to form the Yan Alliance wasn't just about building strength it was about ensuring his own clan members had a stake in the new faction.

Eventually, his "Northwest Harem Group" and his "Central Plains Harem Group" would inevitably meet. When that time came, these clan members, having matured into the backbone of the Yan Alliance, would serve as mediators between the two factions.

Xiao Yan had considered bringing a few lackeys from the Pill Tower along, but recalling that Cao Ying and Dan Chen were there, he dismissed the idea.

The Next Morning

Xiao Yan embraced his three ladies Ya Fei, Yao Ye, and Nalan Yanran to bid them farewell. Behind them, many Xiao Clan members also wore reluctant expressions.

"Second Brother, I'm leaving now. Everything here is in your hands," Xiao Yan patted Xiao Li's shoulder, then glanced at the clan members behind him.

"These young ones are here to train make sure they don't go overboard. I don't want them causing too much trouble."

"Understood." Xiao Li nodded. This group of youths, blessed with traces of Dou Di bloodlines, were so strong that they had already turned the capital upside down. Were it not for Xiao Li keeping them in check, they might've resorted to outright banditry.

"Good. I'll return as soon as I can." Xiao Yan chuckled, spread his battle wings, and disappeared into the sky under the watchful eyes of those he left behind.

After Xiao Yan was out of sight, Xiao Li's demeanor shifted, becoming stern.

"Ladies, if you ever encounter difficulties, don't hesitate to come to me." Xiao Li's tone toward the three women was respectful.

"Thank you, Second Brother." Ya Fei and Yao Ye blushed slightly, while Nalan Yanran's face turned scarlet still an inexperienced young woman.

After bidding them farewell, Xiao Li returned to the courtyard with a no nonsense expression that made the younger clan members tremble.

"From today onward, keep a low profile. Don't use your bloodline to bully the less fortunate. If I catch anyone misbehaving, I'll break their legs. Got it, Xiao Feng?"

"Yes, Sir!" Xiao Feng stammered, forcing an awkward smile.

"Good." Xiao Li nodded. "You'll stay here and focus on training. The energy here is only a fraction of what we have in the Xiao Clan. Take this opportunity to experience what life is like for ordinary people."

He smirked coldly. "In Xiao Yan's words, it's time for a transformation Bian Xing Ji! From today on, I'll help you change your ways."

The younger clan members' faces turned pale, their fear evident.

"Xiao Yu, you're in charge of overseeing them. If anyone breaks my rules, report directly to me." Xiao Li's gaze fell on Xiao Yu, whose strength was second only to his.

"Got it, Second Brother." Xiao Yu smiled faintly, but to the youths, it looked devilish.

Near the Magic Beast Mountain Range

Xiao Yan's broad wings sliced through the air. Within half a day, he had already arrived near the mountain range.

"Back when I came to the Magic Beast Mountain Range, I completely forgot about that little beauty." He smacked his forehead lightly.

Initially, he'd planned to head straight to the Tagore Desert to search for the Green Lotus Core Flame but suddenly remembered he had unfinished business here.

"Sigh, Your Majesty, forgive me for keeping you waiting," Xiao Yan murmured as he descended into the forest below.

Yun Lan Sect

On a serene mountain peak, Yun Yun sat motionless, gazing at the mist covered peaks around her.

The layers of clouds and mist, carried by the wind, shrouded the verdant mountains in an ethereal beauty, like a veiled maiden.

But Yun Yun was in no mood to appreciate the view. Her thoughts constantly drifted back to that fateful night.

Suddenly, a figure emerged from the sea of clouds, landing before her.

"Yun Yun," called Gu He. His expression mirrored her despondency.

Since being defeated by Xiao Yan, Gu He's confidence had been shattered. Worse yet, he'd faced severe punishment from Yun Shan. If not for his utility as a sixth tier alchemist, Yun Shan might've killed him outright.

"What do you want?" Yun Yun's voice was lifeless.

"I… need your help," Gu He said, his tone bitter. He could see that the boy had left an indelible mark on her heart.

But for the sake of his dream of refining pills, he still sought her aid.

Qing Shan Town

Situated at the foot of the Magic Beast Mountain Range, Qing Shan Town was also known as Beast Town due to its proximity to the dangerous region.

The town was filled with mercenaries who lived by the blade, their lives always on the line.

Today, however, a stranger strolled through its streets.

Hands in his pockets, Xiao Yan walked leisurely, his carefree demeanor akin to that of a landlord's spoiled son. His expensive looking attire drew envious glances.

Naturally, his appearance also attracted trouble.

"Young man, you here alone?" A wiry man with a rat like face grinned slyly at Xiao Yan.

"Yeah. By the way, is there a girl here named Xiao Yi Xian?" Xiao Yan's eyes gleamed with naivety, which made the man's eyes light up.

"This kid's green as grass. Time to fleece him!"

With a sly grin, the man said, "Oh, you're here for Xiao Yi Xian? I know when she'll be back, but nothing in this world is free, you know. How about a little something for the information?"

"A little something?" Xiao Yan feigned hesitation, then fished out a small pouch from his storage ring.

"Will 100 gold coins do?" He looked at the man pitifully.

"Perfect!" The man's eyes gleamed greedily.

This brat has a storage ring? What kind of family does he come from to have such luxury at his age?

The man's mind raced with schemes.

"Follow me, young master!" He led Xiao Yan to a pharmacy called Wan Yao Zhai (Ten Thousand Medicine Hall).

"This is where Xiao Yi Xian works. She should be back soon. Take a look at the herbs here they're top notch. Care to buy some?"

He looked at Xiao Yan eagerly, hoping for a hefty commission.

But Xiao Yan ignored him, his eyes fixed on a group of mercenaries entering town. Amid their bloodied ranks, a figure in white caught his attention.

There she was, standing out like a lotus in the mud.

"Not bad," Xiao Yan said, his gaze lighting up.
