Nina's flames surged like a supernova—
white-hot, teal at the edges, roaring with judgment and grief.
Sol didn't flinch.
She only tilted her head, wings expanding wider, each feather glinting like obsidian blades.
Shadow—still inside Keuirseu—laughed.
Not a normal laugh.
A jagged, broken one that didn't match Keuirseu's voice at all.
"Burn him, then," he taunted.
"Let's see if your precious angel boy survives."
Nina's fire recoiled violently, as if her own power was holding her back.
Her hands trembled.
"Keuirseu," she whispered—
the real name, the one she never used unless she was desperate.
Inside his body, something twitched.
A flicker.
A plea.
Nina saw it—
and her eyes burned with tears instead of flame.
Shadow rolled Keuirseu's eyes mockingly.
"He begged me to stop."
A grin sliced across Keuirseu's lips.
"So I didn't."
Nina screamed and rushed him.
But Sol moved like a nightmare.
One step—
a blur—
and Sol intercepted Nina, slashing upward with a wing so sharp it whistled.
Nina blocked with a shield of living blue fire, sparks exploding as blade met flame.
BOOM—!
The shockwave tore through the forest, sending leaves and ash spiraling skyward.
Sol hissed, pressing forward, her strength monstrous.
Nina dug her heels into the ground, wings flaring with celestial fury.
Shadow stood behind them, controlling Keuirseu's body like a puppet, clapping slowly.
"Fight harder," he teased.
"It's more fun when you scream."
Nina roared and blasted Sol with a beam of concentrated holy fire.
Sol took the hit full force—
the explosion swallowed her—
but when the smoke cleared…
Sol emerged smiling.
Her flesh burned, cracked, smoking…
but regenerating instantly.
"More."
Her voice was almost delighted.
Nina's breath hitched.
This wasn't a normal demon.
This was a Moon Sister.
And then—
Keuirseu fell to his knees.
Shadow's grip slipped.
Something bigger was waking inside him.
Dark smoke poured from Keuirseu's mouth and eyes—
not Shadow's void-black—
but deep red and ancient, like molten blood.
The air vibrated.
The trees bent as if bowing.
The shadows recoiled.
Sol stepped back for the first time.
Astaroth.
The Abyss Brother.
The Devourer of Souls.
He wasn't possessing Keuirseu from outside—
he was inhabiting Keuirseu's soul, cracking it open from within.
Shadow snarled, suddenly uncertain.
"No. No. No—this was MY vessel—"
Astaroth's voice exploded from Keuirseu's throat:
"YOU ARE NOTHING."
He reached out—
and tore Shadow's essence toward him like a black vortex.
Shadow shrieked.
Nina grabbed Keuirseu, pulling back desperately.
Sol lunged to interfere.
And that's when it happened:
Blood Reaper stepped out of the shadows.
No warning.
No sound.
One hand pierced Keuirseu's soul-space, grabbing Shadow directly.
Shadow screamed like metal tearing apart.
Blood Reaper yanked him out—
a writhing, smoke-black mass—
and slammed him into the corked vial she held ready.
POP.
Shadow vanished inside.
Astaroth's influence collapsed for a moment.
Keuirseu fell limp into Nina's arms.
Destiny, tears streaking her face, rushed forward.
"Keuirseu—! Stay with us—please—!"
Sol snarled and rose to full height, wings spreading into a monstrous silhouette.
More demons poured from the tree line, forming a crescent behind her—eyes glowing, claws clicking.
Blood Reaper turned slowly, vial glowing at her hip.
Sol's voice was cold death:
"Return him."
Blood Reaper smirked.
"No."
The demons roared.
Nina shielded Keuirseu with blazing wings.
Destiny hovered protectively over him, shaking.
Astaroth pulsed inside Keuirseu's soul, not gone—only stunned.
And Sol whispered to her army:
"Kill them all."
Sol did not roar.
She did not scream.
She simply stepped forward—
—and the entire forest bowed.
Her presence warped gravity, bending the air around her. The demons behind her surged forward like a tide of black wings and snarling jaws.
Blood Reaper didn't wait.
She launched herself first.
Their collision split the clearing.
BOOM—!
Dust exploded upward. Light and shadow clashed violently, forming a shockwave that knocked trees over like matchsticks.
Sol dug her claws into the ground and shoved Blood Reaper back with monstrous strength—
far more than any demon should possess.
Blood Reaper skidded through dirt, boots carving trenches.
She growled, wings flaring.
Sol's smile widened.
"You are strong… but not Queen-strong."
She blurred—
faster than Blood Reaper expected—
and slammed into her midsection, sending her flying.
Blood Reaper hit a boulder so hard it shattered into powder.
Before she could fully rise—
Sol was on her.
Her claws slashed down, carving glowing rents through the ground as Blood Reaper rolled aside. The cuts hissed with lunar energy, burning black fire.
Blood Reaper swung her staff—
a crescent arc of celestial-white fire—
Sol caught it.
With one hand.
The impact cracked the earth for miles.
Sol leaned in close, whispering inside Blood Reaper's ear:
"You are powerful…
but I am a daughter of the Moon."
She shoved, and Blood Reaper was launched back again—this time crashing through two trees and embedding into a third.
Blood Reaper coughed, wiped blood from her lip, and smirked.
"Good. I was getting bored."
She ignited, black-and-gold fire spiraling around her like a burning halo.
The ground beneath her melted into molten cracks.
Sol inhaled deeply, the moonlight along her wings burning brighter.
The glyphs on her horns flared like ancient runes awakening.
They charged—
BRUTAL.
GODDESS-LEVEL.
NO MERCY.
Each strike was a sonic boom.
Each blow cratered the earth.
Claws against blades.
Moonlight against Reaper-flame.
Blood Reaper punched Sol hard enough to bend her spine backward.
Sol recovered instantly and slammed her forehead into Blood Reaper's skull, sending shockwaves through the ground.
They tore across the clearing, destroying everything in their path.
Demons swarmed around Destiny.
She knelt beside Keuirseu, wings glowing faint gold, tears streaking her face.
"Destiny!" Nina shouted. "Move—now!"
"I'm not leaving him!" Destiny cried, voice cracking. "Not again!"
A demon lunged—
—but Nina blasted it to ash with a single scream of fire.
More demons circled.
Destiny shielded Keuirseu's body with her own, trembling but unmoving.
Blood Reaper noticed—
rage ignited in her chest.
She slammed Sol into the earth and roared:
"YOUR FIGHT IS WITH ME!"
Sol's eyes pulsed white-hot.
"Everything that breathes is mine."
She unleashed a tidal wave of moonlight.
Blood Reaper crossed her arms to block—
but the force launched her backward, carving a trench through the cliffside.
Sol rose gracefully, stepping out of the crater.
Her army roared behind her.
Blood Reaper leapt from the rubble, wings sparking with black lightning.
They clashed again—
BOOM—!
The sky ripped open.
Sol had the upper hand.
But Blood Reaper refused to fall.
And Destiny—holding Keuirseu—refused to run.
