The couple went atop their hotel to enjoy the scenery by eating snakes and drinking whisky.
As they ate, their conversation flowed easily. They talked about the day, sharing laughter over their adventure inside the dungeon.
"You know babe," he said, swirling the wine in his glass as he gazed at her, "I've been to a lot of beautiful places in my life. Seen a lot of incredible things. But nothing comes close to this."
Lilith raised an eyebrow, her lips curving into a half-smile. "You sure have your way with words, hubby."
He let out a chuckle escape," he added with sincerity, shaking his head. "You. Sitting here, under the stars, looking at me like I'm the only person in the world. Nothing could ever top that."
This, Lilith didn't deflect his words with a sarcastic comment or an eye roll. Instead, she held his gaze, her expression softening into something unguarded and vulnerable.
"You have a way of saying things that make me feel… like I'm more than I am," she said quietly.
