Crown was an ability only focusing on gaining information, it gave him the power to make blood eyes that can transform pictures to him up to ten kilometers.

The problem with it was any magical detection could spot it very easily, and for an assassination, its effects were minimal.

"That's the difference between my magic and a someone like Katarina." He sighed; most of his even levels were going to be useless; his level 6 was even worse than his crown ability, but for some with chosen migacs, even their basic abilities could match his higher levels.

His interest returned to his new ability from Famine; after a few breaths, he took the full grasp of its capabilities; he could see the main kink of someone.

"Well, this one is gonna be realy usefull." A faint smile was shaped on his face; the cold wind of the rooftop passed through his hair as his eyes glanced at the moon in the sky.

Due to hia achievements mainly becuase of the dungeon, his coin balance was currently 200000 coins, "My stats could be compared to a level five at its higher stages, better keep them for an emergency need..."

Although Ray didn't totally believe in the strange dream that had happened the other day, he was sure that something big was on the horizon.

"With so little time left until Impact, I should get to level 5 no matter what and talk to Famine as soon as possible; the only person that might know something is her." Even thinking about the matter seemed impossible as his mind tried to avert his attention elsewhere.

The danger of whatever that voice was had escalated to a new level for him when he tried to talk to Jade about it; no matter what, his system didn't agree to send his messages, and even his body refused to follow his commands about talking about it.

He sat on the brink of the rooftop; the endless city beneath him shone with different lights, but in his place, only the sound of wind could be heard.

"For someone to be able to effect my system to this extent, and even my body, it can only mean one thing: that thing is inside of my body..." He had a vague guess of when it had happened.

Since his return, things had gone too well. He had returned to the perfect year to make preparations, but what were the chances of such luck?

And there were his memories too; unlike him, others had only pieces of their memories returned in time, but the only person that got his full mind was Ray.

"It should be a higher being, a mortal can't pull such a feat. But what should I do to survive?" Rumors about knowledge of higher beings about the flow of time were mostly that they knew what would happen in the future.

The sound of an clock tik toking above his head was in his head for hours now, his mind seemed to be his biggest enemy for the time being, and mostly the pressure of what to do became heavier and heavier.

With an emotionless tone, he talked to himself: "Even if I think of a perfect, you will be aware of it too... Truly a desperate situation."

For the first time in a long time, Ray felt he had faced a wall with no way out, however his determination didn't change at all, despite his situation, the feeling of excitement of facing an enemy far greater than his capabilities.

The date of their fight with Scarlet was less than a decade ago, but for him, the memories looked like a far reach in the past. At that time against an Immortal, he felt the same excitement in his blood.

"This parasite out-escalates Scarlet easily." His smile grew wider, "for now, there is no point in worrying about it, when the time comes my actions shall decide my fate."

He started to move downstairs to his bedroom; two beautiful ladies awaited him in the bed, and he was going to make sure to enjoy the two months remaining until the impact to the fullest.

"Congrats on reaching level 4." A message from Katarina suddenly came through his system.

Ray raised hos eyebrows, "How the hell do you know the exact timing?"

"Let's just say my magic is getting stronger, my plans have changed, and I shall pay you a visit next week."

The last thing that Ray wanted to hear was others' magics getting stronger, and Katarina by his side for now had huge margins.

Ray didn't respond anymore; one day his alliance with Katarina and Jade was going to end, and on that day, if he was the weaker one, in this world they wouldn't hesitate to get rid of him.

No matter the friendships or romances that Ray made along his way, in the end, he knew better than anyone that at the crucial moments, he was gonna be alone, and the only thing thar he go rely on was himself.

"That's just how the world works; why am I thinking like it's a big deal?" He whispered to himself, as he reached the door of the last floor, complete silence greeted him.

Before returning to his bedroom, he checked the moon from the glass wall of the main hall of the floor. His mind traveled to a planet far away in the sky, for long he had dreamed of being an immortal on Mars, the planet that was the battleground of immortals.

"I might never reach there...."
