Since the beginning of the earth there has been two realms that coincide with each other, they are the mortal realm and the demon realm. These realms rarely interact with each other, only when the rift between them is weakened will they. Over time the rift has weakened on multiple occasions in numerous places, one such time being 2004 in upstate New York. A demon crossed over to the mortal realm and 16 years later their whereabouts are unknown…

The screaming jolted Makia awake, nearly jumping out of her bed.
"Ugh… Von… what is it"
"You slept in today sister, breakfast is getting cold"
"Oh I see, I'll be down in a few minutes"
In this home there lives nine people, the Salvant family of seven and two servants. Makia is the oldest of five at 15 years of age. Reuji the second child is 13, and the triplets Von, Kat, and Leo are all 8. The butler, Seth Roman and the maid, Pam Derry handle all the daily needs of the house. Both the father and the mother have been away for just over a year on a field research project (both of them are scientists), they have not been able to return due to restrictions due to the Covid-19 virus. This home being of decent size resides on the outskirts of a small rural town. Due to the quarantine that is in effect the seven residents of this house have not been able to leave.
Makia makes her way downstairs to the dining room after waking up and getting ready for the day. Reuji and Kat are still eating, Von, Leo and Pam are in the living room watching television and Seth is in the kitchen.
"Oh finally making an appearance miss lazy huh" Reuji
"I'm the lazy one? Maybe you should look in the mirror, at least I'm actually doing my school work"
"Hey isn't it too early to be going at each other like this?" Kat
"You're right, sorry Kat" Makia. Both Makia and Kat then look at Reuji
"Don't look at me like that, I ain't do nothing"
Seth walks up to take Reuji plate.
"Young Master, please do try and get along with your siblings. They are your family after all" Seth
"Why is everyone ganging up on me now? Nah enough family time, I'm going to my room." Reuji
"Never mind him, delicious food as always Seth" Makia
"Yeah I agree" Kat
"Your praise is most generous, thank you"
Kat the finishes their food and goes to the living room.
"All right so now that everyone has finished eating its time to do your school work" Pam
"Nooo, I don't wanna" Leo
"Yea, why can't we do it later" Von
"Please, I just finished eating, at least let us wait a bit"
"Now children, it's better to get your work done early so you can so whatever you want to later"
"But Makia and Reuji don't do theirs this early" Leo
Makia now walks in to the room
"Yeah I don't but because I don't I go to sleep late and almost miss breakfast, do you want to miss breakfast?
All three triplets reply "No"
"Then you better go do it now"
The triplets go off to get their school work
"Thank you for your help Makia" Pam
"Just trying to make them better than me and Reuji"
"You are a good big sister Makia, more than the triplets and Reuji knows"
They both smile at each other then Pam goes to help the kids and Makia sits down on the couch to watch television. Seth stood watching from the doorway. He makes his way down to the basement, there he opens a secret door behind a bookcase. Behind this bookcase lies a room a book which he starts writing in.
