CHAPTER 11 — The Council of War

Siraj sat at the round table inside Hazarduari's strategy hall.

Maps, scrolls, and future-notes Arif brought were spread around.

The system projected glowing paths:

[Possible Future Outcomes]

Path A: Wait for the British → Bengal falls.

Path B: Strengthen army & navy → High chance of survival.

Path C: Create alliances → Maximum stability.

Siraj looked at his generals.

"This time," he said firmly, "Bengal will not rely on blind trust. We will build our strength with our own hands."

The generals bowed.

Arif added,

"You have three months before the Company makes its move."

Siraj's eyes flashed with determination.

"Then we start today."

CHAPTER 12 — The Army of the Reborn Nawab

Siraj personally inspected training grounds.

"Swords are your pride," he told the soldiers, "but discipline is your power."

The system unlocked a feature:

[Troop Upgrade Tree]

Infantry Training

Cavalry Mobilization

Naval Rebuild

Artillery Enhancement

Siraj selected: Naval Rebuild.

Near the river, craftsmen began repairing old ships—turning them into faster, stronger vessels.

Arif said,

"You're changing Bengal's future. With a strong navy, the Company won't control the river routes."

Siraj nodded.

"This land was born near rivers. Our strength will also rise from them."

CHAPTER 13 — The Whispering Spy

One evening, a hooded figure slipped into Siraj's chambers.

The guards instantly surrounded him, but Siraj raised his hand.

The figure knelt.

"My lord… I bring news. The Company is bribing nobles. They're spreading lies across Bengal."

The system scanned him:

[Loyalty: 87% — True Informant]

He continued,

"They have a list of people they want removed. Your name… is at the top."

Siraj smiled coldly.

"This time, I know the shadows before they strike."

He gave the spy a silver token.

"From today, you serve Bengal as my Shadow Messenger."

The spy bowed deeply.

A new network of silent informants began to rise.

CHAPTER 14 — The Marketplace of Hope

Siraj walked through Murshidabad's bustling bazaar wearing a simple cloak to remain unrecognized.

He saw merchants talking proudly:

"The Nawab exposed traitors!"

"He's protecting our land!"

"Bengal is finally rising!"

The system showed:

[People's Trust: 48% → 62%]

Siraj whispered,

"The strength of a kingdom is not only soldiers… but the hearts of its people."

He secretly met with key traders.

"If Bengal prospers," Siraj told them, "the British won't be able to break us."

The merchants agreed to support him with supplies and funds.

Arif whispered,

"We're building something Plassey never allowed."

Siraj replied,

"This time, Bengal writes its own destiny."

CHAPTER 15 — The British Declaration

Just as Bengal was beginning to strengthen, a courier arrived breathlessly at the palace.

He handed Siraj a sealed scroll.

Arif read it aloud:

"To the Nawab of Bengal,

The East India Company demands full control of taxes and trade.

Refusal will be considered a hostile act."

Siraj stood silently for a moment.

The hall trembled with tension.

Then the system flashed:

[New Main Quest: Defend Bengal's Sovereignty]

Siraj raised his voice so the entire court could hear:

"If they want control…

then they will face the Tiger of Bengal."

The generals pounded their chests.

Arif looked at Siraj with pride.

"You've changed everything.

This is not the same Bengal that fell at Plassey."

Siraj answered:

"This Bengal… is reborn."
